Happy Thanksgiving to America

Besides the 'traditional' harvest time, I have more reasons to be thankful.
My health is good, family and friends are great. I'm - slowly - recovering
from the loss of my wife and I'm really getting into my :santa: work.

Nothing beats the smile of a child  NOTHING :!:

We have a lot to be thankful for this year.

Work has been good, we've got a lot done around the house, we had some good vacation trips including two camping trips, one trip to upstate New York, several smaller weekend trips... and as everyone here already knows, my wife and I closed a volume out on our life and started a new one complete with a new identity, a new plan, and a new vision forward.

May you have a joyous Thanksgiving and Holiday season from the Palumbo family!

Happy Thanksgiving to all. I started the year still working on building an Amazon mega warehouse here in Ca. After 14 months on the job I moved to several smaller jobs, getting closer to home drive wise, with time off while finding the next one. I landed 1 about a month ago 20 minutes from home. This one is going to be awhile, but not at the dizzing pace the Amazon one was. And they have alot of work everywear, so I can enjoy what I'm doing. cardiologest visit last month confirms all is working well, and he's mad at me beause my numbers are better than his! :D

Happy Thanksgiving all in the New World who celebrate it, and also as a gesture of friendship and kinship with those in the Old World as well.

Today had a few scares and a couple of rocks for yours truly, but it all worked out well in the end. All of us are still looking at the green side of the grass!

Talking about imports on this side of the Pond from America. An unwelcome one is the 'trick-or-treat' idea for Halloween, but curiously the 'Thanksgiving' thing never made it across here. Nearest thing I suppose is the Harvest Festival celebrated in some churches, not all.

Truth is, we actually celebrate thanksgiving most weekends here, with the traditional Sunday Lunch, to which all the Family present come. Last w/e. was an exception, with two guest couples down at our Kerry 'hacienda' to play bridge for a couple of evenings. As we all needed to travel 200+ miles back home that Sunday, the big luncheon plus wine celebration took place on the Saturday. It's amazing just how a couple of glasses of wine can ruin the subsequent bridge played that afternoon! But it was fun.
