Another type of skirted clothing

I always wear silky slips and cotton petticoats in bed. Absolutely hate pyjama trousers riding up in bed pinching my nether regions!

When my wife and I married -- many, many years ago -- down- filled quilts were coming into fashion in the UK as an alternative to sheets and blankets. People had encountered them on holidays in continental Europe. So we quickly decided to go that way.

If you wear pyjamas or a nightdress under a quilt, it tends to slide off. But really, it's much more sociable, and fun, to sleep in nothing at all.
