Revealing skirt wearing

Post by photoguy207 »

I have been wearing skirts when I am alone in my office for over 20 years.

Over the past few months, I have revealed to some female friends and co workers that I wear skirts. Friends, to just get an idea of their thoughts about it and my co workers, so they aren’t surprised to see me in a skirt at the office.

The general consensus…. They don’t care.

First of all, they didn’t even notice I had a skirt on. I usually wore an Unaligned Skirt in either khaki or black. They all said, oh, I thought you had shorts on. I do have other skirts, but most are denim or dark colors, and very plain, noting overtly feminine or colorful.

Secondly, they almost all said, pretty comfortable isn’t it?

Thirdly, doesn’t matter if you are comfortable.

So, no more reveals. Just going to wear them.

.......... unless it is a revealing skirt. Sorry, I initially misinterpreted the thread title.

It is great when you get to the stage where you are confident to wear skirts anywhere after the limitations of just around home. Also you will get more adventurous with the choice of style you wear in public.

Hooray! :D

I'm glad one more has 'seen the light', the damn closets should be burned -- but not the skirts!

I started wearing shirts last November just to hike in. It only took a couple months for me to get comfortable in a skirt. Now its about all I wear anymore. I now have over 20 skirts.

It is great that you have got to that stage of skirt wearing. Think of all the time we have been missing out but better late than never.

Its a good thing that you wear shirts while hiking, it certainly helps to keep the sun off your shoulders and thus prevents sun burn.

As for the skirts, yes wearing them is for the most part, a total non-even, just as it should be whether hiking or anywhere else.

I don't wear any revealing skirts though, unless I wear a sarong short and then my wife likes to make it revealing. But only at home...

After reading the title of this thread and the beginning post, I had to do
a "double-take", smile and get my mind out of the gutter. I thought
what kind of skirt wearing would cause revealing of the body :?:

Was it too short :?: (About as long as a very wide belt :?: )
Was it too sheer or see through :?: :faint:
Did the skirt really belong to a "Street Walker" :?:

Then the  hit and the writer meant that he was "revealing to the world"
that he was a skirt wearing guy :D

Oh the joys of language :D

Hey - it worked ;)

Yes, I was about to contribute with a pic .......... that would have been inappropriate for the original intention of the thread :)

I was having the same thought when I first read the title of the thread. That the skirt was "revealing" something it shouldn't.
