Re: Skirt ??????
Thankfully it is located in the US so I don't have to agonise over whether to buy it or not.
At 7" it is a big leap up from my shortest of 10".
It is a wrap garment so one would not need to step into it ........... not that it would be a high step.

Re: Skirt ??????
denimini,
I think it is,
according another picture of the same article. See this picture:
An interesting style.
See also the third picture - probably from the opposite (front?) side:

Re: Skirt ??????
I have something similar - but its a dress. I think this is the same - but its hard to tell based on the size of scaling in the picture etc.
The flared portion (skirt portion) sits on your hips and comes out and is mini length, the top banded portion is a boob-tube off shoulder style so just stretches over and holds there.
thats what I suspect anyway.
Cheers

Re: Skirt ??????
Hi NZF,
You are likely correct but my thought was that the body appeared a tad short or just an exceptionally high waist.
It would be interesting to see it on a model to get some perspective.

Re: Skirt ??????
your waistline is your tummy button - and its likely that dress is approx 30cm in the top portion - if so then thats ample from waist to bust for off shoulder like that. But then without a measurement on it - its hard to tell for sure.

Re: Skirt ??????
I saw a link to fishing skirts which interested me; a skirt with many large pockets, water proof or designed to get wet? perhaps not.
I started to lose hope when I saw barbed wire as an optional material:

Still not sure if we are talking about the same thing. Material for a garment worn around the waist? I'm not a fisherman so I haven't a clue. Enlighten me someone.
I believe in offering every assistance short of actual help but then mainly just want to be left to be myself in all my difference and uniqueness.

Re: Skirt ??????
It is a skirt that is only worn when going fishing. I used to have a fishing hat that I only wore when I went fishing.
Sort of what you would call a lucky skirt, because you catch lots of fish when you wear it.
Hope this has enlightened you to a greater degree on fishing skirts.

Re: Skirt ??????
I dunno, could be quite an eye-catching design if made life-size and had coverage (maybe a solid skirt underneath):
