It looks like the skirt has had a prolapse.

I wear Roxy denim skirts (of which that skirt is one) - but I think that detail on the bum is a bit stupid. Closer inspection shows the skirt has a standard front etc. What a silly way to ruin a nice mini !

For those who "dress to the left" (an old tailor term).

I really like that Zimmerman design. I suspect it'd look funny on me, but it's very nice nonetheless.

Do you deliberately go online looking for the most outlandish examples. If these are examples from your normal searches then I'm beginning to wonder ....

I just check the latest listings in "Skirts" and there is always such a variety. I doubt that there would be as much variety under "Pants", not that I have tried.

Just today as I was gandering in my closet looking for something perky and cool for a warm day so I started on the 'short" side (skirts arranged somewhat by length) and was distressed as nearly all of my shorter skirts are plain, plain, plain -- beige with big patch pockets that tend to look like shorts, and denim -- almost as boring as the days of my panted wardrobe. Not till I got to nearly knee, calf and ankle length did items with much color, flare or lighter fabrics enter into the mix. This left me wondering what Anthony's closet looked like given all the wild numbers we see him posting from time to time. I've got to say thanks for reminding us that there is something more out there than denim and plain colors when the mood strikes.

Funny you should bring up colors. Every time I open my closet I'm reminded of how many times I've said one of the joys of womenswear is the great colors and the variety of colors women have at their disposal and that I've got so many black or grey dresses and so many white blouses!

In fact, at the height of my "dressing for success" in the corporate world I never had as many white or cream colored shirts as I now have blouses in those shades. Go figure!

I don't buy everything that I see (and nothing that I don't see) but I do have some cheery numbers in stock ..... it's not all denim, that's for sure.

Well, this one offers the potential to prevent the hem riding up - just hook up a few ocky-straps down to the boots - or perhaps some sort of weights.
Also the fact that there will be the ventillation of a shorter skirt.
