I've mentioned this before, I was walking through a mall, and though I'd caught some looks, nobody seemed particularly put out by my skirt, and nobody said anything, that I heard anyway. Apparently one young boy did say something, but I didn't pick out his voice from the background. I heard his mother though, "That's not how it works, anybody can wear whatever they want"

I was walking fast, but I turned for a second to give the mother a big smile!
