This one I was tempted to buy just for the brand name.
I doubt that they are the surnames of a business partnership.
Perhaps referring to the appropriate venue for this range of skirts.

I bought a nice lightweight pleated mini skirt on ebay (surprise!) but when I used google translate on the brand name "De Puta Madre" .......... I am not so sure that it is a nice skirt.

There are more translations possible in urban slang, less vulgar but it is still not a password into the higher circles of society.

To go way off topic:
About 50 year ago I talked to a high ranking guy from the Dutch ambassy in Paris. He said that if you were in a foreign country and not speaking their lingo, first you have to learn a very bad curse word, then learn to count from 1 to 10 and after that you can try to learn some nicer words. With that curse word you can express your displeasure and with the numbers you can deal with the people money wise.

Hmm. I prefer:
Hello
Goodbye
Yes
No
Please
Thank you
and some numbers.

I feel that list would serve me better. But each to his own.
Keep on skirting,

All over Spain, "de puta madre" means extremely good, appealing, desirable. It applies to people, situations, experiences, anything. -- https://www.urbandictionary.com/define. ... ta%20madre

I had it from a senior ambassy guy who travelled all over the world for years and not as a tourist. He saw the unpolished side the world. Personally I also prefer the friendly approach but knowing a curse word might be handy if needed.

Happy Cow. Perhaps one cow is happy because it is some other poor cow's skin that is recycled.

At first glance, denimini, I thought it was a waist/belt bag.
After doing a "Double-take" I saw that it was a micro-mini skirt.
 That skirt wouldn't cover my back-side

If it had 90% pockets, I'ld wear it as a belt-bag, but without the belt ;)

Anyway, good find :!:

About the floral skirt - - around here, most of the floral designs are in polyester.
I agree, they can - and do - get hot. Not the most coolest material around :D

How novel a mini-skirt that doubles as a money belt or it is the other way around money belt doubles as a skirt ?

Well it was titled: Happy Cow Festival Recycled Leather Moneybelt Mini Skirt Brown Size 8-10
Don't how much money can be placed in those small pockets - unless there is a hidden panel under the skirt.
Actually in this day and age of plastic money the small pockets could handle a few credit cards with ease.

In closing with that short of a hem line a supporting clause (under gear) protecting that other legal tender would be necessary ! LOL !
"YES SKIRTING MATTERS"!
"Kilt-On" -or- as the case may be "Skirt-On" !
WHY ?
Isn't wearing a kilt enough?
Well a skirt will do in a pinch!
Make mine short and don't you dare think of pinching there !

A different brand name. Not sure of the marketing potential for selling the larger sizes.

I am not sure if there is any rationale with skirt brand names.
I quite like the skirt despite the fake pocket flaps ........ I have another with a similar detail and found myself lifting the flap to try and access the pocket.

I'd cut a slit under the flap and add a pocket, I think.
