Done to death - - -
hummm let's see - First there were fig leafs
followed by robes tunics togas the dreaded (two pipes) pants
where dresses and skirts came in hell I don't know - the Scots
had their kilts in the mix and we are now in the forerunner of
pushing skirted agenda - - -
Is this the end ? have we finished beating a dead horse seeing
if there is a different result - heck we are just getting in the groove
and started

So don't be afraid to "Bring It On" !!!
"YES SKIRTING MATTERS"!
"Kilt-On" -or- as the case may be "Skirt-On" !
WHY ?
Isn't wearing a kilt enough?
Well a skirt will do in a pinch!
Make mine short and don't you dare think of pinching there !

Where did you buy those skirts and what brand are they? Are they wrap skirts? great look.
Happy-N-Skirts,

The grey tartan skirt I have bought in a C&A store in Switzerland back in 2014. The length is 19”. It is closed and has no pleats.

The red skirt is from Tartanista and the tartan is MacGregor.

Neither the model nor the tartan is available any longer, however. Now it is of the “Billy Kilt” type and the Honour of Scotland tartan comes close. But you can have several others. Prices start at £16 and end at £19 for a 20” skirt length. If only 16.5” you can save a Pound. UK female waist sizes up to 28!

Above shown skirt in Heritage of Scotland tartan is still to get. I bought mine in size 18 and the waist is about 34-35”. The length is 19”. It is a wrap skirt. Due to the length it is no kilt in traditional sense and that it closes to the female side is therefore of no importance. Nobody cares anyway.

If too tight, American Sport Kilt is a possibility.

A Woman’s Sport Kilt is 18” long and the price is $59.50. Add $10 and you can have it 16” or 20”. Waist sizes are no problem.

Should you want it shorter than 16”, buy a Sport Kilt Mini

It is 14” short.

My ebay kilt skirt has arrived. Its lovely albeit just a tad large.
I may just have to take it in a little.
But basically very pleased- its wool, light with a good pattern.
I'll post here sometime to say how its been received in public.

Hi all,
Here's a quick update on my first outings in a kilt skirt.
I've been out in it 5 times so far....supermarkets, petrol station, cafe and a national trust property. Reactions have been the same as if I was wearing a mans kilt, which isn't surprising really as it looks identical to a kilt unless observed closely by someone who knows about kilts- the differences being that its a bit longer than an average kilt, the fringe is over my left leg and the straps/buckles are narrower that those found on average kilts.
So its been the expected non-event; but it gives me a cheap alternative to "proper" kilts.
Maybe I should push the envelope a bit more.

Thanks Grok.
Chirp, its good to hear that you wear long skirts without any problems. Maybe one day I will try skirts, currently just moving to kilt-skirts.

Long simple skirt with normal shirt. No one will bat an eye,

Kilts cost alot more then skirts..........
