Never shop for skirts and beer at the same time. It's akin to going to to grocery store whilst hungry -- a very bad plan if one is trying to avoid over-spending.

Growing up in a very Calvinistic country and after the war when the economy was still down, I don't have those urges. My shopping is always according to a strict list. Ehh, that is when I'm not in Woodcraft, Home Depot or Lowe's.
