Foustaphobia

Post by denimini »

I thought there must be a word for it. A condition most men suffer from.
Now we can tell detractors that they should get some help with their Foustaphobia.

s/thought/knew/g [0]

Damn you Hector Berlioz. [1]

How's that for going off the rails... 'Tis the (primary) peril of an associative mind.

[0] a UNIX "sed" phrase for, "Substitute "knew" for "thought" globally in a document.

[1] Hector Berlioz wrote the choral work The Damnation of Faust a few years ago (in the 19th Century), and whilst that may not be entirely pertinent here, is it possibly? (Although, being a tale of seduction I'll bet a skirt was involved somewhere.)

Not to be "that guy"...

But Foustaphobia defines as a "fear of skirts".

Most men are not afraid of skirts, they simply want to get into them from the hem side, preferably while attached to an attractive woman.

It's getting into skirts from the waist side that scares the hell out of men, as though their nads will fall out the other end.

Silly wabbit!

Directly related to fustanella.
That's the pleated skirt worn in Greece by Evzones.

It's a simple matter of physics: There's nothing to stop them from falling out. Perhaps on many guys the things aren't attached properly in the first place?
