Amazed! I won two auctions on Ebay for two skirts, here is a picture of them. Feel free to make comments.

Tackleberry., when you get your skirt, please post pictures.

Here is a picture of the second skirt.
Sorry about the double post, I cannot figure out how to post multiple pictures in one post from my phone or I would.

Here is the second one denim 22 inches long, size 18
As you can see they are almost identical A line skirts. Simple and practical is what I like best.
Soon I hope to get some pictures of me in the skirts posted, hard to get a head to toe selfie shot.

Anyone got any ideas? Asking wife to take pics is out.

A tripod. Or set the camera on some nearby stairs. Or a fence post. Or a rock. Or the car hood. Or ask someone passing by. Or...

Try to keep the camera at eye level, though.

They are nice skirts. I think we're all looking forward to seeing you in them.

Good points - use the self-timer for the maximum time to jump into the pix.
Review the pix and make alterations/adjustments for chopping off the head
or ankles or other goofs. Then retake the pix till you get it right.
Using a selfie stick may work with a wide angle lens but then the stick may
present other problems. A tripod would be best - you could also use a monopod
leaning it up against something secure. There are devices to screw into the
threaded fitting in the bottom of most cameras to fasten the camera to a fixed
object i.e. C clamp; mini-tripod with foldable legs; etc.

Cavet: even if the shutter makes little or no motion when being triggered test
try a few shots until you are certain the camera will stay in place.
Don't try this on ships balcony railings or other moving vehicles.
Beware of winds and vibrations to your camera platform.
"YES SKIRTING MATTERS"!
"Kilt-On" -or- as the case may be "Skirt-On" !
WHY ?
Isn't wearing a kilt enough?
Well a skirt will do in a pinch!
Make mine short and don't you dare think of pinching there !

No I didn't receive any bad reactions...
Just I remember going to a supermarket when a maxi skirt a few years ago and being looked up and down by a bloke, and a checkout supervisor and coming out a woman sayin "he's wearing a skirt" but I wouldn't call them necessarily bad reactions just normal reactions I guess...
Anyway picked up my new knee length denim skirt yesterday but not had time to really wear except to make sure it fits.

I found a way to snap a fairly decent picture, using a full length mirror,
I eventually hope to get even better pictures, better than my camera phone and the abesence of weird angles. But for now.....

Here is the second skirt I got on ebay.
For a size 18 they are a little snug :(
I need to lose a little weight anyways, I guess these skirts are a little reminder.

Bonus skirt image. I figured while I was snapping pictures I would throw this one on and take a picture since I had it handy.
As you can see this is my "style" the only thing that might be more comfortable than skirts Is a nice pair of sweat pants especially on a chilly night.

Nice skirts Mishawakaskirt. Personally I prefer a nice maxi skirt on those chilly winters nights when I can. You get a lot more warm air inside the skirt to keep you warm than what you get in sweat pants in my opinion. That and wearing a pair of PH gives you another layer of insulation that works as well.
