Has anyone skirted in Reno NV?

Post by derail3 »

Hi guys,

I am going to Reno NV USA at the end of the month for two days. Staying downtown at one of the casino's. Have any of you ever skirted in Reno? How comfortable did you feel.? Skirt or Kilt? What was the reaction to it? Was the experience different inside the Casino's vs. out on the main boulevard?

Not Reno, I went and played in the 2006 WSOP in Las Vegas. I was there 10 days and didn't even take a pair of trousers with me. Wore skirts on the plane, in the Rio hotel and casino, in the taxis, walking the street outside. I really didn't give myself a choice as I had no trousers in my baggage. Anyway, no one cared what I wore, I got about 10 compliments, all from women, several of the "I don't know why more men don't wear skirts as I can see how they would be more comfortable for a man's plumbing/anatomy." Got pictures taken of me at the various Poker site courtesy suites, one picture taken of me with my camera by Chris Ferguson, a famous Main Event winning poker player. He has mid-back length brown hair and wears a black cowboy hat. He told me he wears Ferguson tartan kilts sometimes. He also said he couldn't see what difference it would be for a real skirt or a kilt on a man as long as it wasn't an imitation woman look, which mine obviously wasn't.

I had a fun time, lost in the games I played in but I didn't mind. If you gamble you must expect to lose and be happy whether you win or lose.

I took 8 skirts with me and used the Rio laundry while I was there. (free if you have a room there, I did). I also enjoyed laundering myself in the huge Rio heated pools. :hooray: :thewave:
I had to remove this signature as it was being used on Twitter. This is my OPINION, you NEEDN'T AGREE.

I wear my skirts in Las Vegas and other small towns in Nevada but not in Reno. I have never had any problems in Nevada wearing skirts. Usually people don't say any thing about it. Enjoy your trip to Reno.

Hi,
I have worn my tan mocker in Vegas. I was staying at the stratosphere and walked around the casino, nobody cares. When I got out to get a cab I got a compliment from some brit guy, he said are you scottish and I replied "No". He said nice and gave me a fistie, then the girl with him asked if it was a scottish kilt and I said "No, it's American kilt" and she smiled and said it looked great.
After that I decided to walk a lil instead of taking a cab, and actually got some chic catcalling me...she was in a limo I think. And she shouted something about my outfit...
Give it a try.
