Re: WARNING!!!
One thing, if you ever get a call claiming to be government (usually tax agency, not always), don't believe them. If you truly owe money, you'd get notified either by registered mail or by bailiff/process server. Do not call the callback number. Also, there is no way to track down a specific compute...

Re: Upkilting isn’t a laughing matter
From what I read, at one time...the Scotsmen both did and didn't wear anything under their kilts. As was done in much of Europe at the time, many men, especially those who were poorer, wore their nightshirts as undershirts during the day. Those who wore trousers just tucked in the "longer"...

Re: A Modern Style of Tunic or Robe
Scroll down a bit, to "Free People Calico Cotton Trapeze Dress". Do you have something like this in mind? Notice how the garment flares below the arms. https://www.macys.com/shop/featured/trapeze-dress Cool, I remember a few years ago I was going to "fripperies" (thrift stores) ...

Re: A Modern Style of Tunic or Robe
If the garment is loose enough one might pull it over ones head, like a T-shirt. Kind of how I imagine the ideal garment. I was recently re-inspired to think about it, because talking with an online friend about, among other things, the oversized turtleneck sweater-dress worn by the three main char...

Re: Halloween plans skirted, kilted or other?
My outfit for recent Halloween related stuff, including a party at school today (I'm now back at school, learning to be a paralegal), was Prince Janus of Zeal, from the early 90's video game Chrono Trigger. There seem to be a few different interpretations as to what he's wearing, but me, my variant ...

Re: Maybe a skirt suit remedy
Do you mean like what's done in certain Pacific islands? The Samoas, Tonga, and Fiji all have variants of the business suit where, instead of trousers, one wears a formal version of the sarong, made out of suit material, generally matching the jacket (and in the case of Fiji, for some instances, the...

I found an interesting link. https://www.ft.com/content/99e12c68-994 ... d8fa6961bb What do you all think? Also, like that picture of a rather young FDR in a dress.

Interesting sarong store!
Well, there's a Sri Lankan store that's redefining the sarong. https://www.lovisarongs.com/ I like their ideas, especially of making pockets standard. With the exception of the "Mermaid" sarongs, they don't seem that pricey, either (make sure to select USD....or Euro, GBP, or AUD, because ...

Skirts and dresses article
I found this news, WARNING that it has a bias, and seems to focus on a specific subculture of some sort that also includes 8-inch heels. http://www.thesleuthjournal.com/fashion ... s-dresses/ The pic is cool, mostly, but....the heels ain't for me!

Cool! How does your jean kilt feel?
Also, hope those sulus you're ordering work out (are you getting the version with the serrated hem? *curious*)

Interesting talk about....man-gown? Man dress? ideal MUG!
On another site, because of someone's picture of a character, a conversation ensued. Said character is a faerie from an old video game, the game being Rodland, the person being "Rit." There's a debate whether it's a guy or a girl (his sister, Tam, is definitely female) So, I'm on the he's ...

Re: Boy ordered not to wear a dress....
Alberta, it should be noted, is kind of the "Texas of Canada".....they have oil, they have cattle, lots of it (your comment was spot-on), they have a strong cowboy tradition (Calgary Stampede, most notably), and....they were the only province that, during the last Iraq War, was mostly in f...

Boy ordered not to wear a dress....
While about gender identity, it's also a bit worrying, that judges may be ruling on stuff even for boys who want to wear skirts or dresses for reasons that don't have to do with gender identity.... http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/calgary/medicine-hat-judges-ordered-4-year-old-not-to-wear-girls-clothes...
