Re: "National Boycott" over childrens book at Pizza Hut
A couple of things about the French that I find interesting (apart from manners) is that they seem to have a national glasses style of their own and they are somewhat obsessed with hairdressers and Pizza. I was in a B+B pre-lockdown, literally in the middle of nowhere and the hosts asked if I would ...

Re: Another type of skirted clothing
I sleep naked and have done since childhood and being given the choice.
A dressing gown is used for leaving the bedroom if anyone else is around, but generally naked till I get dressed.

Re: Sightings "in the wild"
Not sure if this post belongs here on on the funnies thread. I was sitting outside a Bistro in Paris (France) at the weekend; back earlier today. I guy on a bicycle accompanies by a couple of dogs on leads stopped outside the bakers opposite. He was all in black with a utility kilt, dreadlocks etc. ...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"
Guys thighs are separated a little, woman's are not..... They shouldn't be touching much as a skeletal rule. Women have a wider pelvis and a more angular leg angle, but touching thighs is either individual growth or being overweight for both men and women. If you have "bad" genetics and a...

Re: Much skirt wearing over the jubilee?
I thought the white ensign was the flag of the Navy, which is a George cross with the union flag in the corner? The ensign is typically flown from the stern or the mizzen mast of the vessel and the jack from the "jackstaff" which is right at the bow. If it sounds more complex than it need...

Re: Much skirt wearing over the jubilee?
Whatever happened to the Union Jack? The "Union Jack" is a Union Flag but mounted on a ship (probably warship); the one on land is the Union Flag. So same thing, different position. I thought the white ensign was the flag of the Navy, which is a George cross with the union flag in the cor...

I have no experience of Sarongs, what is the difference between a male orientated sarong and a female orientated Sarong?

Re: Strange and unusual skirts
Quite clearly that mini is on back-to-front. What you are looking at is shaped to cover the behind/posterior and it all looks out of shape under a belly button. Tom Don't think so, if you click on the picture it takes you to the shop page and other views. The rear view looks fine. Maybe its a first...

Re: I just don't understand...
Yes it is about the person, but if you cannot control the person you need to control the tool. This is fallacious thinking and simply does not work because "where there's a will, there's a way". Hence the old adage of "Outlaw 'foo' and only outlaws will have 'foo'." I hate to be...

Re: I just don't understand...
It's time to fix the problem from an entirely different angle than ever more draconian "enforcement" and encroachment on personal liberties. This prevailing attitude is where the USA is going wrong. You do not have efficient enforcement and in no way could it ever be described as draconia...

Re: I just don't understand...
In March 1996, there was an incident here in Scotland with very some remarkable parallels. There were no parallels Stevie, Hamilton was reported to the police many times by people who saw his behaviour as a threat (going back to the early 1970's) and they did nothing about it. This case was a failu...
