I've got 2 Utilikilts and I think the pockets are great. Just carry the usual... keys, cellphone, loose change. Sometimes I put the wallet in the back pocket but most of the time just in with everything else. I've got a few skirts with pockets which are ok but they're even smaller that regular pocke...

I had mine white for the past few days and have been quite intimate public settings wearing sandals all without a single comment. Do folks not notice? Not want to say anything? Think I did a poor job (my wife said I did a poor job :) )..... I painted mine white pearl last week and have been wearing...

At work... gray long sleeve pullover shirt and p--nts.
After work, playing in a band... white dress shirt, black UK, ankle high socks, and hiking shoes. The normal attire for me with this band!

I just love having painted toenails. Did mine dark purple (blackberry) last week. Saw a guy with white painted toenails yesterday -- another favorite of mine. I paint mine every now and then, usually white pearl or silver. I tried red once, but it didn't look good on me. :shake: White painted toena...

Punch cards? I can beat that! Back when I was at college we had to put our stuff on coding sheets from where it was entered and batch compiled by butthead clerks. My Fortran code came back with syntax errors because the clerk had put full stops (periods) at the end of each line without being asked....

"... Most people actually get a lot more sugar than they should, which I think is one of the big reasons obesity is on the rise." Definitely agree with you there. It's amazing how many people get the largest size soda in fast food restaurants. At the self serve soda machines, just because...

On deck, the kilt started blowing around right when I was trying to take some pictures. Ended up just using my hand to hold the kilt down. I didn't even mess up any pics!

Kilt on a Cruise Ship...

Hi all... I just got back yesterday from a great 3 day cruise from San Francisco to Vancouver, British Columbia. I wore my khaki Utilikilt a good portion of the time and got quite a few looks! A few smiles but most people were just curious. Probably one reason is because I've got long hai...

There are hundreds of roomy, loose-fitting skirts at the second-hand stores, like Goodwill. The local thrift shop just had a sale on skirts for $3 apiece! I once bought a bunch for a dollar each, and just donated the ones that didn't fit/look good to another store. Bringing along a tape-measure hel...

A few years ago, I flew from San Jose, Ca to Seattle wearing my Utilkilt. Can't remember which airline but I think it was SWA. The only comment from anyone was at the security checkpoint. A guard looked at the kilt and asked, "Will that fall down if you removed the belt?" I just laughed an...
