Re: Men Wearing Nail Polish

I grow my nails long for playing guitar and other stringed instruments. I prefer to use my fingers to using a plectrum. I grow my nails on my right hand and keep them short on my left. I also enjoy painting my nails sometimes, but with the playing, it rarely stays on for long! I have found that usi...

Re: Happy New Year to you all

Happy new year all. I haven't done anything this year, but I finished 2012 by doing an errand in my skirt. I was at my GF's place, and I was getting a bit underfoot, when I asked if there was anything I could do for her, she suggested I drop the rent check off. So I did. Partly because I wanted to, ...

Re: The Frog Prince

Ha!

Last Halloween, my GF wore a frog Princess costume, on the t shirt part, it read

"Kissing a frog to get a Prince,
is a waste of a perfectly good Frog!"

Re: For thoose who it concerns ...

To get back to the original point of this thread, I haven't yet worn skirts outside ( apart from a couple of late night walks ) because of fear of others. Not hatred, at least when wearing a kilt, skirt might genereate some grief, but ridicule. I'm pretty certain work will be OK with it, but I *DO* ...

Re: What do you wear on your legs with skirts

Interesting viewpoints. I am still getting my head around the idea of wearing a skirt ( kilt even ) in public. When I wear them at my GF's place, I find it more comfortable to wear stockings, heavy stay ups or thigh highs from comfilon. I don't like wearing tights, or pantyhose, if you will, but I s...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

For those debating warmer leg wear, have you considered a thermal base layer? i.e. pair of plain black merino wool long johns? I understand that moment of getting your head around wearing such. I have a pair of the heavier thermal support thigh highs from comfillon, the one time i went for a walk in...

Re: Skirting Costs

Hi all, my first post. So far, all my skirts have come from thrift stores, most expensive was $3. The down side is I haven't yet dared try them on in the store, so of the 3 I've bought only 2 fit, but the other one is possible, my GF is going to move some buttons. It's a tartan front wrap skirt, and...
