Re: Leopard print clothing Female Clothing?

Leopard prints are not the least feminine to me, I've no idea why. Maybe because I simply don't like how they look

Re: When you're asked why do you wear skirts?

I agree with you Stevie. With his disguisement and his dance, he was definitely looking for attention and trying to amuse people. The pose he takes at the end for a photo goes in that sense.
Good on him for that, it was a success!

Re: That rare male compliment

Not about skirt, but recently I've been complimented by a male colleague for the yellow trousers I was wearing. Too bad the pockets's opening is so small, making me often choose something else to wear :-(

Re: circle skirts and double circles

Yes, I have made two circle skirts myself (midi skirts), and love to wear them. To me, they are very particular in comparison to other skirts in lots of aspects. It's very different from wearing an A-line skirt. I will repeat a bit what others already have said about it but adding some other things ...

Re: Silly reasons for wearing a skirt.

I've been offered that skirt thus I am obligated to wear it. Please accept my present *take another skirt that was hidden somewhere and tend it to the person who did ask*

Re: Silly reasons for wearing a skirt.

I was not feeling like to raise my leg and had troubles putting on trousers. Troubles disappeared with a skirt

Re: Women wearing skirts

I'm curious, but I think only she knows... what was she expecting with such a question? Another way of answering, maybe if the contexts allows joking, could be with saying something like " Hey girl, I don't know when did you look under my skirt to see it has no seam but please don't do it again...

Re: Sebs sweatshop

Great one, congratulations! This is something I would love to wear! You're speaking about not having to iron it too cautiously and spoke about a sewing technique to help with this. I'm curious, what textile did you use? Before you started the thread I did already buy cotton twill (one in red, one in...

Re: Am I Still Welcome Here?

I agree with others, you are greatly welcome here :-) A dress is no more than a skirt with top attached. Ahh, I thought it was a skirt with the waist band around the neck. Sorry for you but nope, you were wrong. Your definition of a dress doesn't match this one for example: https://image.made-in-chi...

Re: let's list why we like skirts

I throw some oil on the fire (and assume the blame for it) From my point of view, the problem with Jamie is not about whether he identifies as a female or not, but rather the fact that in most of his messages he blames any bit of masculinity. He is very close to tell that anybody must be ashamed for...

Re: would you wear those skirts ?

"Charles Jeffrey Loverboy" is the best ones that I see from all of these, but without all the stain. I would have no problem wearing a skirt like this. Eventually I would prefer it a bit longer in front and longer in back (I don't like seating when my skin directly touches the seat). Maybe...

Re: Independent article on de-gendering fashion

Same than you crfriend. I prefer to have a life partner and no child, than having child(ren) but no life partner. As for being approached by woman, I used to know a guy who was in a stable relationship. He was often approached by nice women. The day they broke up, suddenly the women disappeared, no ...

Re: Sebs sweatshop

It looks actually very good. Thanks for sharing. I'm thinking since a long time about making a very similar skirt but was wondering if it would look nice, I have an answer now. I'm eager to see the final result!

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

Yesterday at Brussels central station, I saw a bearded man (beard was not so long but obvious) wearing a black skirt or dress. It was ankle length at the back and a bit higher at the front. He had a jacket on so it may be a dress as well as it may be a skirt. He was focusing on the departure screen,...
