Re: Heels

Looks about right - but its not painful. You get used to the position, its more a flexibility thing and a physical endurance scenario of having your foot in that position, which with extensive wearing you get quite used to, and it becomes easy/comfortable over time.

Re: Incerun Dress

I'd suggest go to a good department store and look at the shirt dresses. There are typically a lot for a great price as well as some hefty tags. Here's a few quick options from David Jones. These stores would also be online (as is this one) https://www.davidjones.com/productimages/medium/2/2380248_2...

Re: Skirts from Leather Cult

its similar to a pencil skirt and they're naturally a wee bit restrictive.

wear them with a pair of heels and it all makes sense.

denimini wrote: ↑ Sun Mar 13, 2022 11:34 am Not tweed but I think this one looks OK for a skirt suit. It is a size 8 (Aus, UK) I would need a size 10 skirt and a size 14 top. That is a nice boucle sort of style suit - on trend again - a bit like the tv show clueless... although the skirts are a bit...

Almost No Skirt Options!

Just thought I'd make a comment/ have a bit of a moan.... I've been shopping for another suit and there are heaps of suits but almost none with a skirt option anymore. Perhaps one or two skirt options out of 30-40 pant styles. There are shorts options - but not skirts.... I admit I do like high wais...

It also makes it harder to use the bathroom. :(
sounds like you need to try some stockings rather than pantyhose/tights...They're probably ideal.

Re: These Boots Weren’t Made for Walking: Gendered Discrepancies in Wearing Painful, Restricting, or Distracting Clothin

My identity and how I see myself are definitely female, and as such I have forayed into the aforementioned clothing & shoe choices. There is a difference between fitted properly and not - and self image and the desire to wear something encourages us to wear it - even when a size up might be bett...

Re: Skirt Brand Names

I'm really enjoying Stacey Bendets brand 'Alice & Olivia'.

A bit pricier for me due to weak NZD - but the materials are top notch and the styling is flattering

Re: The Feel of a Skirt!

You can't beat a skirt in the summer heat - and I am loving them and so grateful that I can easily wear what I feel I want to. A few days back we had a run of super hot days - I was down to a mini/t-shirt/mules and mini/tank-top/peeps on those days and I was still very hot. I really felt sorry for t...

Re: Dresses?

Dresses are fiddly even if you have the shape. Trust me. I love my dresses - and I have the curves but I still have issues with basic fit around the 4 basic measurements. Some designer dresses I really love are made so flat chested - so guys would have an advantage with them.(some are very restricti...

Re: Hello

Hi Midas, I wear both skirts and dresses. I wear a skirt or a dress every day. I almost literally never wear pants/trousers as I only have a couple and I wear them perhaps twice a year. I enjoy both skirts and dresses - I have the figure for a dress, so in that sense I am on tangent from others here...

Re: The epilator

stockings are better over smooth legs anyway - sheers obviously smooth is essential for appearance - but hosiery sticks to stubbles - so you need to be smooth for ease of wearing I think? Its just easier. I've been hairless for so long - but I am sure that I can put them on easier because I am smoot...

Re: gender-inclusive skirt

The interesting thing about Nordstrom is that they apparently ship internationally and include the price of customs & VAT, so no sticker shock on arrival. They put it at €60 including delivery and all taxes, which isn't bad. I'm mean, it's double the retail price, but still. The only problem he...
