Re: What do your children think ?

My wife and I have raised 5 children, all of which are adults themselves now. I have 10 grandchildren as well. I have informed all of them that I wear skirts and all have basically told me that what ever makes me happy to my face. What they think or say behind my back I have no idea. But at least no...

Re: What makes a skirt manly v feminine

What makes a skirt manly rather than feminine is the person wearing it and how they wear it. Before I found the Skirt Café, I found an article that stated many women are attracted to men who can appear comfortable in public in a skirt or dress. They see such men as self-confident and comfortable in...

Re: What makes a skirt manly v feminine

I say it's all social conditioning. Every bit of it. And each one of us is pushing those social boundaries in his own way. I really don't care for anyone else's definitions of feminine or masculine because how I feel inside when I wear certain things determines if I'm happy with it or not.

Re: What makes a skirt manly v feminine

...but women want their men to conform to an image of traditional masculinity. I could say the same thing about my women. MOH does not dress femininly. Jeans, sweatpants, tennis shoes, tee shirts are the typical. She doesn't like me wearing feminine looking attire, but yet she won't wear it either....

Re: Sikko

Saturday I had some time to take pictures of my new denim mini skirt during an 1,5 hours walk in the woods. See https://myalbum.com/album/3JJhGR4pLE9B . The pictures are taken from a low position, so in reality the skirt is a bit longer than it seems on the pictures. In the night I went out in Amst...

Re: Difficulties with partners

I too have to say that my wife is a little bit more forgiving of my choices of skirts when we are out and about these days. She never had a problem with denim ones as they are "more manly"; now we've been out together in more girly ones. We attended a symphony concert a few weeks back and ...

Re: Interesting collection

I can change that if you want.... (ducking) :D Only if you want to see me in jeans and shorts exclusively... Pinterest is my sister's favorite site to view on her phone and iPad. So, best not to hack into my flickr account. -J No hacking needed. I could post any of your pics from Flickr on Pinteres...

Luckily, nothing from me. Seems I have my flickr account locked down enough that I didn't get pinned. Nor has anyone pinned my looks from lookbook or "hipstagram"...

That is good and something that each one of us needs to remember. But it is hard to do sometimes.
