Re: Keyboard problem

could be B and B but it's a bit of an inconvenience. maybe a USB mini-keyboard is needed although I'm using the on-screen one when necessary. Oh, well.

Keyboard problem

Overnight I have had some shift-key combinations cease to work - shut the machine down and started it up and they combinations failed. Both shift keys are affected. The driver is up to date and the system says that everything is working properly. I run Windoze 7 on a Compaq Presario. The shift combi...

Re: Texas mom teaches daughter lesson with gender-bending fa

I notice that one of the articles posted on the Scoop site is about women naval ociffers winging about new uniforms being based on the male standard. That's probably muted as to the comments if they based it on the female standard! I thought that women wanted to adopt male garments wherever possible...

Paul HUnt comedy gymnast

I've just come across Paul Hunt, a comedy gymnast, who I feel stretches the gender specificity of the gymnastic circuit by performing the traditional women's routines and adding a touch of comedy. Here's a link to some of his sessions ( although there are probably more available on Hewtub ): http://...

Re: Why shouldn't I go out in a mini

Yesterday it was really warm and the sunshine too appealing for me to stay in so, since MOH was at work, I went into town yesterday. I wore a purple sleeveless top, 14" denim mini and purple trainers. No tights as it was too warm for them. No reactions at all from the masses. I went into BHS to...

Re: Permission not needed

Again Carl, your insight and perception is remarkable. But having said what you have, those of us affected now have to try and communicate this to our OH's, drive the point home, amend the balance of power in the relationship and still have a workable relationship at the end of it. As you said the c...

Re: Not sure what I had in mind.

ps, I have worn clothes that have been rather snug and they get uncomfortable for anything more than short periods. The stitching also tends to give way after a while. But, you could always deconstruct the garment and use it as a pattern ( which you would modify to overcome the tight points and shor...

Re: What to wear

r.m.a, I disagree with you about A-line and pencil skirts - I think that pencil skirts look more feminine. They also force you to take a shorter stride and walk from the knee as opposed to the hip.

Re: Breaking the Convention

There was an article in today's Daily Mail about Ikea furniture that is so difficult to assemble that it causes marital strife ( much like our skirt wearing can ). Marriage counsellor Dr Jane Greer said the following "Underneath, every discussion is really about how important am I to you? How i...

Re: The definition of Crossdressing...

In terms of cross-dressing I came across this article about the NUS ( National Union of Students ): http://www.newstatesman.com/lifestyle/2015/03/nus-bans-drag-fancy-dress-except-it-doesnt The beginning part is a bit irrelevant to us but further down the author talks about cross-dressing making some...

Re: Commonplace

It seems to me that anything that is flowery seems to be classed as solely for female to the extent that any sort of pattern needs to be suspect for the male. Yet I remember in the 1960s we boys/men wore flowered shirts/ties and trousers as the in-thing. When I look at my stock of skirts with only o...

Re: should I let my daughter Know I wear skirts

hairy, I think that you've just proved ( to yourself ) that your expectation and interpretation was actually so much worse than what actually happened. I have found that this is very much the case and we each have to find this out for ourselves. Whilst you will have setbacks you have our support to ...

Re: Summer...to shave or not to shave?

Fortunately I have fair hair that isn't very noticeable and anyway I figure that I wouldn't shave my legs if I wore shorts so why should I shave to wear a skirt? Perhaps the most important ( to me ) reason not to shave my legs is that if I did MOH would see it as another step in my downward spiral i...

Re: Bad neighbour

stevelous, if there are rental issues involved then have a look at the property118 site. It's free to join and there is loads of information about neighbours such as yours and what actions you can take. Not saying that all the answers will be there but it is a good place to start.
