Tom the introduction to the infinite was short for the infinite varieties that are skirts. What would you call those that haven't the courage or intelligence to venture out of their little box but knuckle draggers?
I do have denim skirts in black, brown, ice blue, red, white and yellow.

Re: Converting a tree skirt to a skirt to wear.
We sell them in our store - metal ones, rattan ones, water hyacinth ones. We do have some that are really nice and furry but the inner circles are so tiny and they aren't very long. Marked as 90cm which I think is the outer diameter. I have been perusing the possibilities but I just can't see any wa...

Re: That Damn Denim
I too have denim skirts and jeans too. But I dislike the indigo colour ( too common and I don't own any in that colour ) and opted for the ice blue instead along with white and other colours. I like denim that has elastane incorporated as it gives that bit of stretch. "I try to aim a bit higher...

The red in the swatch is ever so slightly lighter than in the skirt. Enough, I think for it to be noticeable unless the new material can be placed under the apron. Your call, though.

Re: The Sunday Times: David Hockney shows men the art of snappy dressing
A young lady comes into my store on occasion attired in 1950's dress along with the petticoats and lovely she looks. I have spoken to her and it is her preferred look as often as she can manage. She even adds the hair band which looks rather quaint. In a sense my look harks back to the sixties with ...

Re: man-skirt in amazon
So the "original" is 125 euros and the Amazon version £20. The Amazon one must be a Chinese knock-off then. Actually, I would wear it but only either the blue or white one which look more stylish than the other two.

Not forgetting the monocle or pince nez or perhaps the cravat instead of the tie or the spatz. None of which would be worn now although I do have a sneaky liking for the cravat.

Re: On family and spouses "negative" reactions, emotion
I have tried to raise the subject but the best I have got is that when she sees me in a skirt she "sees a woman" even though she does agree that I look good in most skirts. There are some that she doesn't like and, interestingly, they are the ones that I really like. As for pursuing the su...
