Re: Weather in your location ?

Here in Tiskilwa, Illinois, it's -15°F, with a wind chill of -35°F.

It is forecast to warm up to -6°F this afternoon, with a wind chill of a balmy -25°F.

They even canceled our church service, except by Zoom. I don't think I'll be out and about much today.

Re: First steps in tights

But I don't like the feel in the underpants region at all. I like an open feeling, not tight. ... This is remedied by wearing Women’s underwear, which is substantively thinner overall, especially in the Leg seams. Full briefs are the most comfortable under Tights in my experience. I'm glad this wor...

Welcome, Epantsimated! I'm another one who has often avoided conformity. There are a few situations where I wear trousers yet, when I am a public representative for a larger group.

Re: First steps in tights

With the various mentions of tights on this forum, I decided to give them a try.

I like the looks for an occasional formal time.

Are you just assuming that everyone in a skirt or dress is a woman?

Re: Article in The Guardian by a man who wears skirts

He mentions feminism, but this isn't about women's rights; it's really a men's rights issue. Why should females have the exclusive right to wear a garment as simple and basic as what is essentially a tube or wrap? ... Yes, it's a men's rights issue, which is in unity with classical feminism. Yes, sadly that is so. There's the Inquisition and the Communist re-education camps.

Should folks like Pol Pot be used to reaffirm my rejection of atheism? There seem to be misguided folks in any belief system.

Good job! I agree with the others about buying used from a thrift store (as they're called around here.) Sometimes I find something I like at a thrift store but it has the problem you mention; too loose and falls down. Sometimes it's an easy job to thread some sturdy elastic into the waistband and m...

They don't fit my theology either but are fascinating, and the reports of knowing what's happening while no detectable brain activity gives one cause to not completely dismiss them.
