Re: Anti-theft device
Heel-and-toe. Heel on the brake until the last minute, toe punching the gas and then lifting off the clutch. My friend Brad lived in San Francisco and while we were stationed at NAS Lemoore we'd drive up to visit his folks and practice with the Z car on some of the steepest hills in SF. Don's folks...

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large
The skater mini skirt billowing in the wind is DANGER CLOSE!
The underlying white half-slip billowing in the wind is...well, too late.
And the storms blew in about 4 hours too early. Usually no problems encountered when I do this once in a blue moon.

Re: Anti-theft device
Unless you're slipping the clutch or somehow manage to bend spacetime to get from the brake to the throttle instantaneously, or using the parking braken I don't see how it's possible to not roll back just a little on steep hills. When I lived in Pulaski I lived at the top of a very steep hill on a ...

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large
Well...today was one of those days...... Decided to wear a lightweight summer skater miniskirt....commando....a half-slip and a t-shirt. Ultra-light and the next best thing to nothing and with a slight, but delectable breeze. After my third stop some thunderstorms started rolling in and though short...

Re: Shaving legs?
Back in 2007 when I started wearing support hose I'd shave with a Shick Quattro and liked it so I added the Quattro for Women and shaved toes to temples in my Saturday shower with a touch-up Wednesday night. Then after a little research I bought a small battery-operated rotary trimmer and started ca...

Re: Another reason I hate Tennessee
I'm not offended, but will offer an alternative view. Well said, sir. Just as with spin doctors and disinformation campaigns: Simply do your homework, verify the truth/validity of what is claimed, be a leader, wear a skirt/dress with the same freedom women wear shorts and trousers. We're about an h...

Re: Would You Wear This?
Thickness and opacity are going to be important, and especially if it comes out in something like a very long polo shirt I'd wear it. Even if it is only available as-is, if the material is thick/opaque enough I might be interested in using it as a tunic over leggings.

Re: how short can you go in skirts
ManInBlckMini.jpg This year I'm going to get a 'real' mini (between 10.5" and 17" long, or 12 to 13" long as a starting point) and a 'real' micro mini (somewhere on the high end, 10.5" to 12" maybe). So far all I've seen online are mini skorts, so I might go that route if a...

Re: On Gender
My seat of the pants philosophy is that we have a certain 'setting' based on the balance of testosterone and estrogen our bodies make naturally, plus the effects of being overweight which may increase the estrogen via aromatization. Men and women are on a continuum just based on this - too much T an...

Re: When will men wear women's clothing...
since we are writing the rules for our particular clique we can pick and choose those things that are comfortable to us. So high heels which women seem to think are obligatory with skirts ( I initially typed hells before altering it as they are not for me ) need not be chosen if you find them diffi...

Problem is that I found NO SKIRTS for sale on the site. The posted photo above is selling the shirt, no sign of the skirt.
The Trina Turk site has some interesting items, at a price, price and a price. https://www.trinaturk.com/designer-dresses/

Moonshadow, NO! IF you get pants to go with the tunic, Find a friend or neighbor or local fair where you can get a ride on a horse and have some pictures taken in the tunic and pants on the horse. VOILA! Now you are a cavalryman. And if there are any local Renaissance Fairs, they are fun. :D If you ...

Re: Some follow up thoughts on a derailed thread....
Maybe we can set things up so that Anyone can be President who absolutely, positively DOES NOT want the job. And is not a politician, or lawyer. Preferably a tradesman or farmer. Maybe in 2022 President Trump can get a bill passed like "The US National Presidential Lottery" which drafts a ...
