Looked at all three Web sites. In the second one the model looks like he's trying to imitate a penguin.

Re: AGE APPROPIATE

Hi and welcome to the cafe. You will find lots of like minded people here. I too like to wear mini skirts as they are cool and practical in hot climates.

Re: So many more of the old timers we loved have gone

Most places are doing better these days, but I hear South Africa is getting ugly fast. South Africa is getting ugly,...

Re: Pleat Maintenance

When I wash my kilts I hang them on the wash line with pegs holding the pleats in place, much easier to iron when dry.

Re: Anti-theft device

Pelmut. Sadly these days the car do`s the driving for you, gone are the days when you needed driving skills. Ask a new driver to double clutch or heel and toe and they would look at you funny and ask what you are talking about. Sometimes when I drive a newer car I do not feel like I am in control of...

Re: Anti-theft device

Back in the early 70s I learned to drive a double decker bus, the I taught in was 1955 AEC double decker the gearbox was a manual none syncronised, so the only way to change was to double clutch. Even today when I am pulling my small trailer behind my car I tend to double clutch when changing down.

Wish I had known about hiking skirts/kilts in the early 2000 when I was hiking in the Cederburg mountains, in December, in early 40deg C +. I would have been much more comfortable.

I was wearing my pink plaid kilt and white pilot shirt, short white socks and trainers. After lunch we went to the local supermarket to get a few things, while waiting in the c...

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large

I buy skirts in various lengths and then have them shortened. I go to a dry cleaner and have the lady measure me where I like to wear skirts, which is slightly above my knees. It seems to be the optimum skirt length for me. I get the best stride, coolest ventilation, most freedom and comfort. They ...
