Re: Moral Outrage Because of a Small Clip
In Appalachia, a man could wear a gun and a skirt. I never carried a firearm while wearing a skirt, but I did wield a mean caulking gun one time while sealing up some crevices around the house. I dare anyone to stop me, lest I break out my trusty Arrow staple gun with the long staples in the stock....

Re: Article in The Guardian by a man who wears skirts
The three questions: Yes I would wear a skirt. Yes I would happily be the care giver. Being older I now see that if both are good care givers then income is best generated by whomever is going to do the best. Yes I may take my partners surname. I am very ambivalent on surnames. Firstly I dislike hyp...

Re: Male Drab
I'ld answer that by saying in 85-90% of households, the woman of the house, buys the clothing for the rest of the family. So, what input does the man of the house have to say on the clothing choices he is given :?: I'd have to agree with Steve's assessment. Men are now more often buying their own b...

Re: Weather in your location ?
Fourteen inches of widowmaker snow and a dead relationship because my lady-friend doesn't want to be with a "half-man half-woman wimp". I went outside a few minutes ago to help a neighbour and got overheard cursing about the matter, and instructed the onlookers that "If I drop, wait ...

Re: Non-posting/inactive members?
The context or format of a post will often determine the responses received. Generally this is a 'cafe' conversation. Someone makes a comment or statement and then if others what to discuss it further they will continue the conversation. As in face to face not all statements will lead to a full blow...

Re: The Ultimate Stealth Skirt.
When I started this thread, I said that many men would just stop at kilts and never extend their "skirt" choices any further. The fact is that the wearing of a kilt as an acceptable skirt for a man is just as much of an imposition by society as trousers. Steve I started with a denim skirt...

Re: Women wearing skirts
I live and move in places where it can be very hot and also quite cold. I do see many women wearing skirts and floaty dresses for ease and the cooling effect. During winter it's usually back to pants or leggings. They appear to understand the benefit of different garments.

Re: The road to not caring
Well done already. I know the feelings you are going through. I live in a small town and have only spoken to a couple of people here while skirted. I am finding it easier interacting with other people while away from home. So far only positive interactions. It usually gets easier with experience. Ha...

Re: "freedom. Society and only society will provide the answer, not those of us who are asking the question."
That's perfectly fine Jamie as you present as you wish. However, a skirt or even clothes in general give no absolute indication of the wearers preferred shade of gender. The rigid concepts of "team" are what caused me so many problems as a kid and continue to hamper freedom for men and bo...

Welcome and please enjoy your time here. Love the avatar, it's something I have thought about when wearing a skirt. Maybe the universal symbol is not always appropriate.

I missed all of your adventure, but I'm back on line now. Congratulations on the move both personally and work wise. A new place can be very challenging because it's different but also an exciting new experience. We have just travelled 11,500Km (7,000 miles) across parts of Australia. It's great to ...

Re: Auditing my Wardrobe
Not so much an audit here but more like a seasonal stocktake. I have limited storage in my house and conversely almost unlimited storage in the 3 floors of the old Bond Store. I think I may have unknowingly driven past your bond store last week! Pulled up at the riverbank park for a short break. Tr...

Re: Auditing my Wardrobe
Lucky old you, Jamodu. Co-habiting with MOH, a total non-believer, I tend to get my wardrobe 'audited' by her from time to time when concealment is less than totally successful. I have lost a lot of cherished unbifurcated items that way over the years, alas. Tom It must be difficult when 'audited' ...
