Re: Leather kilt

I got the kilt in the above photo from a company called Off-Pat . I think the one in this link is similar: http://www.off-pat.com/index.php/fancy-dress-period-costume/mens-brown-real-leather-matrix-steampunk-van-helsing-trench-coat-most-sizes-4.html . Mine is the 20 inch option, but it's a bit shor...

Thank you Stu,

You just saved me a lot of typing.

I can only agree with that.

Re: I still don't like being skirted close to home.

Shoot... if I had neighbors that were causing me those kind of problems, I'd totally have a blast with them regarding my choice of dress! I'd wait until they have "proper" company, maybe a backyard BBQ, go outside and play, dance, sing, and carry on! I mean, if you've got your wife and da...

Re: A change of heart? Maybe.

Wasn't it ASOS that did the long and super-long sweatshirts (hoodies?) a couple of years ago? The longer of the two was basically a knee-length dress. If it was ASOS, then good for them for trying again so soon! Yes, it was ASOS. I have one of their longline sweatshirts, which gets quite a bit of u...

Re: T-shirt Dress that could easily work on men

I quite like the idea of a simple dress like that for kicking around at home or maybe casual use. However, I have tried a couple on in stores and discovered all sorts of bumps and bulges I'd rather not admit to. I have tried some with printed designs too and they really did not look any better when ...

Re: Difficulties with partners

A wee rant, Today I was tested for COPD,(nasty breathing problem). Other "stuff" has been ruled out. I have not smoked my beloved pipes since January 2016. Mrs K has not asked about the result. I hesitate to ask about the result, feels too like prying. However, I will say that I hope the ...

Re: Asymmetric Wrap Skirt

I found the website for the manufacturer of Caroles skirt, http://www.amsterdamselection.com/en/ . The fabrics shown may be a bit "loud" for many but the flexibility of sizing and the clever four skirts designs in one approach may be of interest to some here. Joe, I understand your thought...

Re: So, I have been away for some time, so thought I would

There are already a few too many threads that have gone stiff because of "official action ". Let's not add another one. Caution: Double irony alert... OK I'll go and sit in the corner until I'm told I can come out :( Have fun , (Aaarrrgggghhhh... Now I've gone and done it . Oh and again.....

Re: Asymmetric Wrap Skirt

Oh, good point about belt loops, Ian! They'd be extraneous with the waist being tie-able. As an alternative to tieable, have you considered using press studs (USA Snaps?) Carole (Mrs Milfmog) has a great skirt that uses two rows of these right around the waist which both provide some cool decoratio...

Re: So, I have been away for some time, so thought I would

...my biggest fear is if I get an erection. I don't get sexually aroused wearing skirts, and it is very rare to get one whilst in public, but it is definitely in the back of my mind. Obviously with a pair of trousers it is easier to hide, but a little unsure what to do in that situation when wearin...

Re: Asymmetric Wrap Skirt

Joe,

I have a couple of wrap skirts with pockets (adequate for a key, a little cash or a cell phone) and who needs belt loops if the skirt fits?

Have fun,

Ian.

PS Any further thoughts a new Skirtcraft design?

Re: Leather kilt

Hey Pete, Good to read you again. I know how you feel with the leather kilt; I bought a leather skirt a while back and loved the feel of it but somehow could not feel comfortable in it in public, no matter what I teamed it with. Eventually, it went to a charity shop. However, I reckon a leather kilt...

Re: Men in Women's Shoes

Guess I'm the odd one out. I'd go for number 1, not because they look better, but because I value my comfort and plenty of toe space in a shoe matters to me. Besides, I'm a guy in a skirt so it really should not be too surprising if I have a guy's legs and feet (which is also part of the reason i do...

Re: So, I have been away for some time, so thought I would

Really? Who goes suit and tie when they don't have to? I do. Business casual is the accepted code, but I choose to wear a suit and tie, at least in part, because other people don't and it creates a definite gap between work life and home life (real life?). The ties also allow me to wear some outrag...
