Re: What made you put on that first skirt.
Not sure why but it was when I was a teenager in the late 60's when the Mary Quant miniskirts were at their shortest that I occasionally tried wearing a couple of my sisters minis. Always alone in the house after getting home from school. I loved the look and feel of them (teenage hormones to the fo...

Re: Hi I am new
Joe. Believe it or not, most folk don't even notice a skirt on a man. Good advice above - my first time was at a petrol (ie gas) station i would not normally use, wearing a denim miniskirt (14" long). A couple of double-takes was all I saw. Heart was pounding I can tell you! Go for it - just look co...

Great first time skirted! Hope you have many more adventures - until it becomes a perfectly ordinary thing!
Hope to hear of more tales.

Re: Hi everyone - new member from the UK
Hi skirtlad and welcome to the site from the other side of Hadrain's wall! I endorse the comments above with regard to going out for the first time in that once you do it, you will wonder what all the fuss was about! My first time was going to a Motorway service station (same as Caultron) - one that...

Re: Hello, from Northern Colorado.
Welcome to the site skirtedtaz! It is always good to hear of others venturing into the unknown - and always with the same negligable responses. The lack of noticing from Joe Public still amazes me and I always wonder if they did actually notice or even say something like "Guess what I saw today?" to...

Re: Where have so many members gone
Hi - I m still here too. Not logged in for a while as I have been on holiday (S Korea and Tokyo) and since them been busy. Still wearing skirts though (though still without MOH) whenever I can. Got my black faux-leather miniskirt and blue tights on at the moment in the house as she is out. I had on ...

Re: Favorite M.U.G. one liners and comebacks
On the other side of the coin, when a woman asks you what you are wearing under your skirt or kilt, you could reply by asking her why she considers it to be OK to ask a man what's up his skirt or kilt, when it is clearly sexist and offensive to ask the same question to a woman. My thoughts on that ...

I also seem to get good reactions from shopping. A few days ago I was in B&Q (a DIY shop in Britain) and was about to go to the self-serve counter when a girl called me over to her till. I don't think it was the khaki cargo skirt but perhaps is was as she gave me a wide beaming smile after I paid. 8)

Re: Its lonely out here
Indeed there are not many of us out there at all. I have seen a number (outwith meet-ups arranged through this site). I would also divide kilts and UK's from "other" skirts as noted below. Being from Scotland, I generally see some kilted blokes most months, sometimes weekly. They are generally at a ...

Re: Driving in a skirt
When I get into a car I do it the same way as I have always done it. One leg in and then sit and bring the other leg in. Getting out is just the opposite. :) I do use the door as a shield since I also use it to help in getting in and out. My skirts are all knee length and not pencil skirts so plent...

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large
I returned yesterday from a long weekend in Leicester, England, attending Gothla http://www.gothla.co.uk/ , a bellydance/goth event. It was the first occasion I have gone on a long trip without packing any trousers or shorts. Traveling there and back, 3 trains each way, all very crowded as trains...

Re: Morning all, Karls OH here.. my experience of Karl skirt
Hi Karl's OH, I just wish my OH was as supportive as you obviously are to Karl. In fact we are at the other extreme of the spectrum where it is absolutely not tolerated at all. I am not even allowed to wear a skirt at home. I therefore can only be skirted alone at home or anywhere outside the home t...
