Re: Sikko

Hi Sikko. Great looks on the mini and micro skirts!!! My shortest ones are 14" long. Wore one today to local supermarket - as usual no-one bothered or noticed. Also wore it yesterday after a walk (naked!) in the local hills and slipped on the denim mini when I saw other walkers at the end of my walk...

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large

Stevie, Great to hear things are going well and that good progress is being made. Compliments and converations on skirts are always great to hear. I get no problems out and about shopping or at bridge or golf courses. Recently as I noted elsewhere here, they asked me where my skirt was when I deigne...

Re: skirts on line

I did sign up with wish briefly but as i was bombarded by Sales e-mails several times a day, I unsubscribed to the site.
As you say, there is a large array of young girls minis and some longer ones as well. Most of them were for very slim women and only had small sizes.

Re: I Finally Did It... My 1st Time Out in a Skirt

Well done jamesy! As you have found out, almost everybody ignores or at most has a double take at seeing a skirted man. I wear skirts outwith the house as often as I can and don't even notice the odd double take even when I coupled a denim mini and fishnet tights at the local chip shop! Nor indeed w...

Re: how short can you go in skirts

I am 5' 11' and about 165lbs (11 stone 11lbs) and regularly wear 14" long skirts. They are Denim minis (2No) and a black faux-leather one.
I tried to post a pic or two but I need to reduce the size before I can add them.
I only wear skirts above the knee which is 24" on me.

Re: Tights, Pantyhose or Leggings

These days (ie colder weather) means 60D tights most of the time. But today I tried black fishnets over 15D tan opaques with a black leather miniskirt.
Went out and posted my Xmas cards a few 100 yards away - temp was 5C. Didn't feel cold but it felt great!

Re: Scots and The Kilt.

A bit of history of the kilt and its early beginnings:- It is quite likely the origins of the kilt come from the "shendyt" which was a kilt-like garment worn by ancient Egyptians, This too was probably based on even earlier hunting skirts which allowed freedomn of movement for the wearer. It was wor...

Re: Pig Ignorance

When I wear my black Skirtcraft skirt or my just above knee- length denim one, I sometimes get comments like, "Got the kilt on again"
Others say, " Did you come here on your bike?" with the follow up, "Thought it was shorts" when I confirmed it WAS actually a skirt.

Re: I Finally Did It... My 1st Time Out in a Skirt

Great news Dave!

The first time is the hardest - I know I chickened out several times before I first ventured out skirted, and that was at a petrol (ie gas) station! Glad I did though :D

What skirt were you wearing? Colour, length style?

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

I was out at the Edinburgh Fringe taking in a couple of shows and saw three different skirted men (excluding kilts!) One was a shaggy mop-haired fellow with a beard and a denim jacket paired with a box-pleat miniskirt (to mid thigh) and a rock guitar tuning up on an open air stage. The missus rolled...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

I was in South Korea for a 2 week holiday (and seeing our son who works there) and was visiting a Korean palace. I saw about 20m in front of me a guy with his back to me in a full length sarong type skirt. I turned to the wife to point him out but she was taking other pics and by the time she had fi...

Re: Builders on site wearing skirts!

I remember quite a few contractors on building sites than banned shorts on their workers. And quoted a H+S reasons for it. All very well having hard hat, high-vis jacket, goggles and ear defenders as well as steel toe-cap and soled boots but in hot weather to have heavy duty trousers is a bit much I...
