Re: A certain satisfaction

I have the annoyance of some of my skirt zips failing or even splitting if I have put on too much weight  but I love side zips on some of my pencil skirts :D Jeans skirts are like mens shorts to me, mostly invisible. I love the breeze up my skirt on a spring day as well, something you would n...

Re: Womens underwear

There was a member called "Knickerless" (thankfully he never was  ) who posted a picture of himself in not a very demure pose at the bottom of a kiddies helter skelter slide at Westfield shopping mall a few years back  I think the picture was kept for posterity for what should NOT be po...

Re: NBA player gets kilted

Definitely a skirt rather than a kilt. The term "kilt" seems to be used almost as a kind of euphemism - "Look. It's not a skirt , guys, it's a kilt . It has a vaguely tartan-like pattern and a couple of pleats, so it has to be a kilt. And tough Scots warriors wear kilts, right? Would I be seen in a...

new2skirts I wish you well and hope you find what you seek in your personal journey. In the popularity stakes, I can't say that I figure very highly either. However, I have been around long enough not to care too much. Good Luck Steve Thanks Stevie! My journey is probably more towards highland wear...

Re: Married Dad Wears Heels And Dresses To Challenge Gender Stereotypes

Hi Guys Above all, Go Mark, do your thing as only you know how. I make these comments with due respect. "Mark as in Mark", does say it all really. He has the individuality and the confidence to make the most of his style choices. Instead of holding him up as some kind of benchmark though, find your...

Re: Married Dad Wears Heels And Dresses To Challenge Gender Stereotypes

A positive article. The original article (top of thread) is wrong. Mark does NOT wear dresses. Lazy journalism. I so echo Mark’s look (only I’m nowhere near as good at pulling it off). I’m wearing much the same at the moment. Female gendered from the waist down, male from the waist up - but of cour...

Re: Out and About -- In the World at Large

The problem I had was that the waist of the hose being higher than the waist of the skirt. are they not the same waist? My pantyhose are a little above my tummy button - as is my skirt waist - just on my tummy button really. They are pain to remove pantyhose when wearing a fitted skirt because they...

Re: Why do mens kilts have to look so masculine

If kilts get "feminized", it would cause uproar for the kilted masses, and would remove that obvious stepping stone for the majority of guys into an unbifurcated garment. It begs the question, if kilts get feminized, do they cease to become kilts at all? Tom, you know I'm not really a "kilt guy" (n...

Knee length pencil, or just above the knee for me. Just my preferred style as I like a snug fit. A generous vent at the rear helps for walking

Re: Friendliness

I've noticed the younger generation is more tolerant, and with the long awaited acceptance of LGBT and a change in social norms (I realize not everyone here wants to accept that umbrella), a man in a skirt is a non event. I may not do the "she/they" pronoun stuff, but people aren't so hostile anymor...
