Re: Boots/legwear

Leggings almost every day. As outerwear. Much easier to deal with than tights. I have big collection, in many colors, patterns, plaids, and camouflage. Still wear knee-length skirts in warmer weather, with nothing underneath except what I was born with. As for boots, I much prefer the Doc Martens wi...

Re: Ballet Flats for Men Articles

I used to enjoy wearing Capezios. This was when dance wear as street wear was a "thing." I had their plain unadorned flats; something called U-shell buckle shoes, flats which had a strap over the instep and was intended for folk-dancing or square-dancing; and their jazz oxfords, a soft lac...

Re: What will crossdressers do if dresses becomes mainstream for men

The word "crossdressing" will become meaningless, obsolete, null and void, if there are no more barriers to cross. Anybody can wear a dress, or a skirt, or hosiery and shoes of their own choosing, without fear of prejudice, or of discrediting or misrepresenting themselves. "Mainstream...

You can get a Skant custom made to your size in red, gold, or blue, from this eBay vendor. Unisex, of course. https://www.ebay.com/itm/134175321659?_trkparms=amclksrc%3DITM%26aid%3D1110006%26algo%3DHOMESPLICE.SIM%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20200818143230%26meid%3D1a7099b117ea4a9ba745ed37c8c8eaf3%26pid%3D10122...

Re: Schoolboy wear girls uniform

Theo has successfully adopted the standard "girls'" kit for his school. He's shown wearing black brogue oxford shoes that are probably part of the standard "boys'" kit. I wonder if Theo has given strap shoes a try, as those are most likely to be the standard choice for girls in h...

Re: Walmart Men’s Skirt

I got one of these. I liked the blue, I liked the look and cut in general, I liked the length, I liked the price. The sizing is smaller than advertised. I got XL, that should have been about 38 inches, instead it's about 34. It's a tight fit. First I buttoned and zipped it, then pulled the skirt up ...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

Sunday morning arts and crafts fair in Jacksonville, Oregon. 3 people said they liked my dog. One lady said, "Say, I have a skirt just like that." (Camouflage bayou skirt from Cabela's.) I asked, "Where did you get it?" "Thrift store, I think." She obviously noticed and...

Re: Dear God.... (glad I'm going AWOL next week)

@Moonshadow, if you want to see "Pride," come to San Francisco. It's not any sort of cult, but community! A very large, and very diverse community. It's a parade and gathering in celebration of diversity. Every "special interest" with respect to clothing, and personal style, is w...

Re: denim skirts

I see shortalls mentioned here. Not skirts, but I like them.
I have bought three denim shortalls in the past year: one from Forever 21,
one from Old Navy, one direct from Levi Strauss. All new, not used.

Re: Compliments

All compliments I get are from women. Nobody notices the skirts I'm wearing. I'm not fishing for compliments, attention, or approval. I wear what's comfortable and practical. What they notice is (1) my Harry Potter cap that says "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good," picked up at a ga...

Re: Costco dress

Costco has brought back the 32 Degrees soft-lux dress I mentioned last year. But, besides the "little black dress," they have added two colors I call "reddish" and "bluish." And the price has dropped to $9.99. https://i.pinimg.com/originals/4c/45/c0/4c45c0dc46f28f7996b1...

Another interesting retailer I've never heard of, with a large and diverse catalog. Very limited in sizes and colors. I see no males among the models, or any indication they have male customers. Many of their creations are what they call "split joint." Does that mean bifurcated, as in pant...

Re: My look - I hope it looks normal

Looks perfectly comfortable, serviceable, and suitable for any activity.
At home, or out and about.
Assuming the skirt has belt loops and pockets, that could be me.
Except for the Crocs. I don't have those.
