Very interesting to hear about your experinces. Thanks for that. Despite the fetishisation it's good to see there is an acceptance angle too.

Re: A flying stalker

As a child I remember going to various hills with wicker baskets full of pigeons and watching them fly around in circles before working out their bearing and heading home. My grandfather kept and raced pigeons.

It was intended for a wider audience. Simply your earlier response triggered thoughts I've had about various comments from this and other threads. No offense intended. I have unquoted you grok.

Re: Skirt Wearing by Women Increasing?

Why do people here seem to want women to wear skirts? ... Does it matter what they choose? ... Are they watching to see if MIS get bored with out choices perhaps? ... What if they just want to see men wearing trousers and not skirts? I find the apparent obsession by quite a few here with what other ...

Re: Skirt Wearing by Women Increasing?

The hot weather this year has increased the numbers of short wearers I've seen, but I cannot say I have noticed a change in skirt wearing. Generally the skirts I see worn are by a few of the overseas oriental female university students. As for uniforms/dress code, anything in the hospitality industr...

Re: Japanese Unisex Uniform

I was hoping to hear that boys could wear sailor suits but it seems this could be the start of the slow demise of the sailor suit. Such a shame of the loss of such a cultural icon. The would probably be accused of cultural appropriation if they created it today. I have spent several hours researchi...

Re: Holy skirt day

There are 2 subjects , the discussion of which should be prohibited on the café. One is politics the other is religion. Some people take religion very lightly some don't, And those of us who take it seriously find casual wisecracking comments even made in jest insulting Firstly, I think that religi...

Re: Favourite shoes

Long Tall Sally got up to an EU 45 (US 13) for most of their shoes and the odd pair go to a 46. Just picked random mary janes that do a 45: https://www.longtallsally.com/shoes/shoes/josef-seibel-fiona-25-leather-mary-jane-16AC076/p?option=16AC076RED Although UK based, they do ship abroad. Wondering if anyone here has and uses an amazon echo look. It is an amazon echo with a camera that can look at how you’re dressed and offer recommendations or choose the better outfit, do shopping, recommendations, etc. It says the recommendations come from machine learning, artificial intelligence...

Re: Wearing a Dress in Public Today

I loved it. Can't wait to do it again. Congratulations rivegauche. I agree with you that it feels way more conspicuous, but I'm not sure that is really is from an observer's perspective. Obviously it depends on what you are comparing, but I know that sometimes when I used to ask my son about a part...
