I have found the best quick change is with wrap type skirts, of which I have made several, no bending, no sitting, just stand put one over the other and remove the under one. Less than a minute.

I make my own belts from webbing and a plastic clip buckle. Go to your local upholstery shop, buy the webbing (whatever width you want) by the meter and a buckle of your choice. My belts normally cost me around R15.00 ( less than 1 pound ) to make.

To me they both look fine. It depends on the weather

I have 4 cargo kilts that I made myself, 3 are denim type materiel and 1 is poly cotton camo, the camo one I wear 95%
of the time, love it.
