Thanks

Thanks guys, I can't tell you if she was looking at my hairy legs or the skirt, but I suspect the skirt. Who can really say. I am looking for a denim in the same length as the floral with a similar hem, if I find it, I will take it out to the streets. I feel in love with the floral as soon as I trie...

JM's other new skirt

Dear Emerald,
Now, here is a skirt I love wearing around the house (I am presently in Florida), but I am not quite up for taking it out for a walk in the mall.

Would anyone be caught dead in this?

My Denim Skirt details

Dear Emerald, I attached a pic of the denim skirt, it does have some "flounce" to it. I like it, but this probably why it is noticed. I was walking out of Barnes & Noble last night and a couple were coming in. The gal caught my eye, then I saw her eye travel down my body and fix on the skirt. Her fa...

Wear can I buy an inexpensive kilt?

Hello all, Been shopping the web, blown away by the price of kilts. I would like to have one made of a nice plaid with pleats, kilt-like or actual kilt. I am not that particular at this stage, just something kilty enough to fool the average bystander. Do you know of a source? A skirt would be fine i...

3rd Outing in 3 days

Hi, I am in the Naples FL area right now, will be back home end of the week. I have been out with my denim skirt for the last 3 days running. Today it was dinner at Macaroni's, a Italian Restaurant. I have been looking at kilts and decided this denim skirt looks more like a kilt than shorts, it's ha...

Second Trip out this AM

Greetings all and thanks for your support! I am certain I would NOT have gone for had it not been for all of you, I just hope you are not all a figment of my imagination! I had a second outing this morning to the diner for breakfast. I was fairly late in arriving, so had to hang out in the waiting a...

Greetings

Hi, I am a newbie to this group, but not to groups in general. I have looked over this group pretty carefully and I think you will be very comfortable here. It's really too bad we can't all live and entirely populate a single small town away from the buffoons and phobia stricken isn't it? We could c...

Bib Overalls

Yes, it would solve a lot of problems. I could splice in a couple of triangles of denim if the skirt ended up to be too narrow to be useful, eh?

I will give this a try and report the results and pictures too if the creation really turns out well!

My First Time Out - LOL

Well, I am truly laughing out loud... I just returned from my outing in my new denim skirt, white polo men's top, men's flipflop sandals. This is my very first outing, so coaxing myself out the door on my own was difficult. Here's how it went... Took a shower, knew the next event was out to dinner, ...

To Mike in Dayton

Mike,
Cool, I thought I was the only male in the state silly enough to wear a skirt! Of course, maybe I am. What do you like to wear as a freestyler?

Skirt Choices

Oh Noble Freestylers, I too agree that we should fight for our right to don our skirts where and when we choose. And I feel I have a cause to fight for! This will happen in our lifetimes! Question -- how far can we realistically go into the femme realm with our selections without damaging the cause....

Sewing up the legs

Sapphire, I own a pair of what I call coveralls, some know them as bib overalls, the things some farmers wear. I have worn this kind of thing to work outside in since my hippie days in the 70's. They have very baggy legs and I was thinking of ripping them apart and sewing them up again as a skirt. F...

Ok, another problem. If I am wearing a skirt, do I use a standard urinal? Can I walk up to one and hike up my skirt?

Where do we put our wallets?

Oh noble skirt donners,
Having just obtained a nice skirt with an elastic waistband (my favorite kind of waistband) I am contemplating shopping. Where or where do I put my wallet?
