Re: WARNING!!!

I've gotten some scam calls where they clearly didn't do their homework. Where someone from either "Windows" or "Norton" would call, saying I have a virus. A couple of times I answered "thank you, I have all the information I need!" and hung up. More annoying are robo-c...

Would you swim in a dress or skirt?

I know, the title seems odd. But, I saw this link.... https://store.daintyjewells.com/catalog/category/more/swimwear/?sort=newest&page=1 They have actual "swimdresses" and "swimskirts." No, not something worn over a swimsuit, it IS the swimsuit, generally. Also, with the exce...

Re: 5.11 Tactical Kilts..

That link does not seem to work in Australia, as it seems to force you to go to 511tactical.com.au, and they do not have these on their site, that link comes up with the old 404 error... If I was going to get one it would be a black 38"....... Anyway.. On with my day. I'm Canadian, eh? We also...

Freedom for All, How about having him in a John Wayne or Stallone type action movie, He could pack the requisite hardware while sporting a fetching floral number with appropriate accessories. I am damn sure that would get some additional reaction. Steve What would it be called..."Skirting the ...

Re: Gender-neutral school uniform collection, including a 'shirtskirt', launches in Taiwan

I wish the "shirtskirt" existed at my school back where I was from elementary to high. Taiwan is definitely doing something right here. If offered, I imagine those boys who are more athletically inclined would probably choose the pants option. Either that, or, if the shirtskirt is the only...

Maybe pumps aren't his thing. If I were wearing an outfit like that I'd go for loafers instead.

Re: 2020 Emmy Awards.

I saw that outfit in this morning's paper. It's cool Yes, that "feminine side" thing is a little over-used. Maybe it's just a man claiming what Society/Tradition (TM) wishes to deny him, on the grounds that he should always be ready to ride a horse or something outdated like that? Also I c...

Re: Swim skirts: Crossing a line?

That probably was something VERY unusual to them, to elicit the whistle! At least sounds like they and you took it in great fun/stride. The "Fakaleiti" literally means "in the manner/style/way of a lady", they took the English word there. In Samoa it's called Fa'afafine (literall...

Re: Swim skirts: Crossing a line?

A couple of times I've gone swimming in sarongs, was nice. If you keep moving, then it's not really a big deal, although it does feel funny with...non-conventional drag. I read that in Samoa they used to swim in their ie lavalava, at least as late as the 70's (probably later in more remote villages)...

Re: Twit two

So she HOOTED at you? (Ok, seems in the UK they "twit-two", but the rest of the English speaking world owls "hoot") Would you call that an owl-call or an owl-whistle? Fun fact: the stereotypical "beautiful woman" two-tone whistle comes from the US Navy. That type of whi...

Re: Keromar: old TV series from Belgium

Thank you for the link. Saw the first episode. Naturally, had to think of what was going on, not knowing any Flemish myself (nor Dutch, but....apparently Flemish is radically different even though the languages are often lumped together) Yes, the Kers do look comfortably dressed. I rather like those...

Re: New guy just learning the ropes

Another nightshirt wearer! Cool! Yes, if there was some kind of day version of a nightshirt that I could get away with wearing, I would....except for the current weather up here. So many people seem to automatically think men who like skirts are gay, when many gays don't like them (they want men, an...
