Ahh - one of my favourite authors of all time - for a man of his era - insightfully explored the social mores of the time - I can't think of a novel off-hand where he put a man in a skirt and examined what happened, but I wouldn't be surprised if there was one - will have to troll through my collec...

Re: Far East...

To me, it looks like it may be from somewhere like Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines or the like, where they were those knee-length skirt-styled jackets as part of everyday 'formal' dress ??? 8) No, the sign is from China. It reads 'xi shou jian', meaning 'wash-hand-room'. It's not gender specific. ...

I find the first one, Gabi skirt by Ronen Chen very interesting. It looks excellent on a man and the design is special yet not feminine. I wonder what the back looks like?

It's time they realised how silly they are, denying the use of skirts by men. Who's denying? I haven't encountered anyone yet who denied my wearing a skirt. There's no law, no regulation against it, just one's own mind. Of course, not everybody will agree; but that's a different matter. And do you ...

Skirting the Rules on Corporate Attire

Interesting: http://www.northstarwriters.com/dfk106.htm Hmm, I'd object to this quote The company promotes women's femininity and empowerment by wearing a clothing item completely different and unique for them, something men do not wear: a skirt. in http://media.www.dailytexanonline.com/media/storag...

A blue jeans... because I was doing my shopping on bike.
Otherwise: a long black dress/kaftan. From afar it looks a bit like a soutane (black priest robe)

I don't think paying people to wear a skirt is a good idea. The intention is to convince them, not to bribe them. Doing so with celebrities is a different matter, they'd even expect money for everything they do... Yesterday evening I had another thought: give away (outrageous) prices to anyone with ...

Most interesting TV spot! The only thing I didn't like was when the spokesman told us that man would want to wear a skirt to be in touch with their feminine side.. yakkes! And **of course** the interviewer had to ask Eric what he's wearing under his skirt. Are there really no more original questions...
