The idea is that they push a hidden message!

My whole purpose of this post is to point out the sometimes not so subtle way that the media manages what we see and hear. They promote the "macho" concepts of what men can and can't do and what the male ideal is. I first noticed it in High School Football. American Football I should add. ...

The Perfect Skirt??

 What would be the perfect skirt! I've seen this discussed before. Pockets or no pockets? Pleats? Full skirt? A-line? Maybe it's not a skirt at all! Maybe it's a garment that is even harder to sell then a skirt. How about a dress? It doesn't have to be feminine anymore the a skirt does! The ad...

The Last Legion (movie)

 Last week I was watching the movie "The Last Legion" which a prequel to the King Arthur story. It is supposed to be about how Uthor Pendragon came to England from Rome (according to this he was a boy Ceasar and fled there to keep from being killed like the other ceasars). It was a s...

Why Not A Woman's Kilt!

They do make kilts for women. They fasten on the left instead of the right. Which makes them a woman's kilt.
Simply!
And kilts last longer then most skirts.

Computer troubles!

I haven't visited her in a long while nor have I been able too. I've been in computer limbo and nightmare. On Sept. 14th I came home and smelled smoke in my computer room/office. My computer was off and I tried to turn it back on. Nothing! Big nada! So I called some friends who fix and make computer...

Good Idea!

It looks like it could be a simple, easy way to get kilt wearing more public exposure. If people would wear the towel around the beaches and then maybe keep it on for a drive home it would get the visual impression of the kilt as an everyday thing thing. Though (LOL) it is funny that people could ex...

In the eye of the beholder!

:D Jeff B: Your concept of how you look in a skirt and heels while still in a male gender mode is based on all your years of cross dressing. Thst's also were your anxiety comes from. I was for years what used to be called a tranvestite (before the generic TG nonsence started). In spite of being 6'4&...

Skirts instead of shorts too!

Charlie: You've just jit on something. Most men are illing to wear shorts all summer long and most women today seem to have something against wearing skirts in any form. But a skirt (or even a dress (tunic for a man)) is much cooler then anything that goes between your legs. Good For You! Maybe we n...

Skirts for Men too!

Dear imadude: What you have desrcribed in your childhood a lot of other men, cluding myself, have gone through. With the addition, in my case, that my mother actually wanted me to be a girl. So for almost five years I was raised as if I were a girl or going to become one. I also went my entire life ...

Combacks!

:D
How about "Jesus Christ never wore a pair of pants!"
Or "Hercules never wore a pair of pants!"
This can be used for crusaders and knight and Robin Hood, etc. etc.

WWII!

My father and other WWII vets missed what life was like before the war. The culture the preceded everything up to that point. Keep in mind that the divorce rate skyrocketed after WWII and has been going up ever since. Independent women, from 600,000 to one million or more, who had put on their husba...

Post WWII.

Several time I have made note of the boast to women's lib and women's fashion freedom that the female gender from WWII. Which has spread from just the U.S.A. to the rest of the world. Hardly any images I've seen lately, from Dr. Who to Harry Potter show the UK women in anything but pants anymore. My...

How about to jury duty!

 Let's see if anyone can top this. I wore a black, ribbed, calf length slim skirt with black thigh high nylons and flat heeled sandals and a dark blue nylon shirt to appear for a jury duty call. I carried a black leather fanny pack as a purse and had on a silver necklace and gold ID bracelet ...

Fun To Look AT!

:) Short skirts on well shaped women are always fun to look at. A seeing how she positions herself while wearing one is a moment of pure joy to most men. But seeing that much of a man doesn't seem to be that ideal to me. If a man wears a skirt for his comfort then there is no comfort in not being ab...

Merlin!

I personally think that the use of pantyhose by men under their clothing for inclement weather isn't all that great. It may have been, briefly, at one time, back in 1960s, when Joe Namath let it slip that pro Football(American) players wore them out on the field. But they were wearing support hose t...
