Re: Kiltliner - Cotton slip

One time I needed one and all I could find was black with a very thin lace trim. I manned up and bot it anyway. It is never visable so wearing even the laced v...

Re: SkirtCafe Core Values

Arrgh. I feel like I just woke up. First, let me say that while its been some time since I posted, I really do very much appreciate this board and all the work the leaders put into making it happen. Recent developments call to mind the olde axiom "No Good Deed Goes Unpunished." To all who ...

KOMO News Utilikilt Production - Is it Kilt Day?

Sorry if this may be a repost.

Well done, esp for Utilikilts. But it would seem to help mainstream our common cause.

Maybe your community has a kilt day???

Wiki answers is tough to use. The Wiki answer link makes little sense as it presently reads. After reading it, I then registered as a Wiki user so I could discover who made what edits to the displayed answer. It seems that the Matt comment (which certainly got my attention!) was added by someone who...

So, AAM, how did your UK experience finally resolve itself? I ventured to their retail store once. Actually, I was glad I did. I really, really want UK to succeed with their products and their business. Surely what is good for them is good for all of us. When I was at their shop I was able to see wh...

Renewed Hello

Well, I've been here a bit, off and on through the last couple of years. I don't think that the intro thread was up when I started posting, so I thot I'd just say hello today. I don't have much time today to submit a fuller description of me, but I did think I'd comment on one recent observation. I ...

Kilt/Skirt Spottings

I've spotted about thee or four kilts/skirts on men here in the great Northwet. (Oregon, Washington, los estados unitos) Once was in Portland, Oregon. I was in a city park near the Lloyd Center shopping mall. I think it was the day a host of cyclists were completing the 210 mile ride from Seattle to...

It is interesting to note how many views this thread has attracted. Comparing the tally to other threads suggests an observation or two about human nature. Also the proportion of views to posts. Cheers.

Thanks for the suggestions. I do struggle with footwear, as wearing clunky shoes and boots doesn't really fit my taste. I tend to wear thongs (aka flip flops), birkenstocks, or a low and rough-cut leather loafer when I do kilt. All can go sock-less. Thanks again for all the posts. Hope to see you, a...
