Re: Dresses!

First of all I am sorry I haven't posted on this group for a while. I have rediscovered dresses recently. I haven't worn one since was in my teens. With the help of a former work colleague I have found several that I like.
I will post a couple in the photo section.

Re: 5 Boys playing filed hockey

I watched a bit of of a girls Hockey match from a window of a Railway Exhibition in Manchester a couple of years ago and it was about the roughest game I have ever seen. They were bashing seven bells out of each other. My wifes sister used to play it when she was younger and used to come home covere...

Re: Another School with Skirts for Boys?

What a shame that they were sent home. Still at least they tried. For the record it has been over 90F most of the time for over a week now. The temperature has dropped to more comfortable 30 deg C today because of the nice breeze and a little bit of cloud cover. Considering we had 6 months of winter...

Re: Another School with Skirts for Boys?

I am impressed that their mothers are supporting them. The newspapers says there several boys in skirts. The TV clip shows 2. I hope they don't get picked on and their fellow students support them. I just wish I had done the same openly when I was at school but it was a different world then. There i...

Good for them - I would have loved to have worn skirts to school.

Re: Skirts = Power ?

The dress code mentioned was just for the women - a good example would do-it-yourself shops such as Homebase, another example would be the cheap end of the food business - like Macdonalds.

Re: Skirts = Power ?

It used to be the case that supervisors and manageresses used to have to wear a skirt as part of their uniform and their subordinates quite often wore trousers.

Re: Made For Men - Skirts, Not Kilts

Well its a start and the pleated skirts do look great and the prices are not that high - I know you can buy a second hand skirt on Ebay for less - but who really wants someone else's old cast offs - would we do that with trousers?

Perhaps they need the assistance of Crocodile Dundee to check peoples sex for them (anyone who did not see the film will wonder what the hell he is talking about).

Re: Hello from The Netherlands

welcome John.

Funnily enough a lot of us skirt wearers are also interested in railways - both model and full size

I myself have worked for the railway industry all my life

I model British 00 and American H0

All the best
