Yeh I think this thread has run its course. Mostly constructive answers, always exceptions. Let it lie guys.

Re: Presenting "as a woman"
Interesting views and I certainly haven't seen a "flame war" on this subject, if my definition is correct. Shows how nuanced the situation is. Stevie yes, what we experienced on Saturday is the ideal. Three (breifly four) quite clearly men happily wearing skirts, not remotely trying to loo...

Presenting "as a woman"
Perhaps a more contentious issue in free fashion for men is attempting to appear as a woman to wear associated attire, whether exaggerated or just blend into other women in the vicinity known as "passing". Typically including wigs/makeup/padding or falsies and a girls name. Yes its one I'v...

Re: Jeans skirt
This is why I was careful not to say its ideal for anyone but I concur, the stretch and the back vent make walking quite easy, and the fuller hips for female shape is a plus in this case. I have a shorter denim thats a bit better for walking but really awkward sitting down so I guess it depends on p...

Jeans skirt
I wouldn't say there is a "perfect" man skirt but my new skirt certainly ticks many boxes. Sturdy denim with 5 pockets exactly like my own jeans, on the knee (most denims on sale are mini or randomly below the knee) and back vent not front. It even buttons on the male side. Very comfortabl...

Re: Online live meeting anyone?
I've used Zoom and find it preferrable to Skype. Teams is the ultimate evil in video calls. Interesting idea but getting us sat at the same time would be a challenge.

Mother who allows one of her twin boys, 4, to wear girls' clothes is slammed by This Morning viewers
Don't know if this was ever posted from a few years back but its such a great example of a boy free to dress as he wants (ie as a girl) home and school without any pretence he is a trans kid or actually a girl, despite the assumptions by some viewers. Wonder what path he's taken since. https://www.d...

Re: Tesco man employee wears skirts at work
I also work for Tesco though literally none of the women wear skirts in there and its an Extra store so large. My job is mostly filling the shelves, high low and all between and carting goods on various trolleys, skirts just wouldn't be practical. Possibly managers or checkout staff but if no women ...

Re: Scottish Hate Crime law
Thanks greenboots for info. I was aware there were concerns from various religious groups and common concerns from those who wouldn't be in the same room eg. Orange Order and the Catholic church. It was my understanding the Braccadale report wanted to make these offences aggravators (fairly self exp...

Re: Scottish Hate Crime law
I don't know if I've entirely understood the context or meaning of the quote but the broad idea is the same however you look at it. Its also contradictory as some who oppose the whole gender theory do argue everyone can dress as they like within limits of decency, like we no longer consider women in...

Scottish Hate Crime law
This is mainly for those in Scotland who may be aware of the proposed hate crime laws under discussion. It includes a seemingly innocuous reference to 'transgender identity', and though this forum is never intended to be about trans or crossdressing issues, male skirt wearing does rightly or wrongly...

Kilt making workshops
Obviously kilt making is quite a leap from hobby sewing of skirts I started, but do any Scottish or UK members know courses or similar that get started on kilt making at reasonable time and expense? The Keith school takes 5 years which is not feasible at this stage in life, Edinburgh Academy have a ...

Re: Boy 8 told long hair has to go
How many on here would have happily walked the streets looking as he does? Absolutely would have. But maybe kids and indeed their families think its more acceptable to be 'trans'. I know one just like him born a boy but changed to a girls name and relocated to live as a girl, only some teachers kno...

Re: Boy 8 told long hair has to go
There should be a "fuss" over any kid treated this way, cis or trans.

Boy 8 told long hair has to go
Not a skirt issue but similar on gender conformity with hairstyles. A boy with lovely long hair being told by possible upper schools he would have to crop it all off. Reasonable asking to tie it back same as girls. Naturally he gets mistaken for a girl but he knows he is a boy and is happy as he is....
