Re: Anyone seen any good April Fools?

for a "office-safe" prank, i put tape over the optical feedback on several people's mice.

all of them were managers, and the best reaction was one person rebooting their computer twice.

Re: Let's start a Pizza Hut boycott!!!!

i have to give benefit of the doubt. the report says that the man came into the resaurant 3 times WITHOUT MAKING A PURCHASE. and they claim to have it on video. now, unless the store manager is a COMPLETE fool, he wouldn't make those statements without being able to back them up. store managers have...

Re: Minor bragging rights

And the rubber mallet on top of the monitor? A new definition of "bootstrapping?" The BRM is a stock prop with the RCS/RI crew, mainly for humour, but it has been deployed in instances where "percussive maintenance" is required. (One would be surprised how much blacksmithing can...

Re: Boy in heels

i think that heels are purely subjective. i like heels between 1.5 and 3 inches, both visually and wearing them myself. i have difficulty walking in heels over 2.5 inches, and i find that (visually) anything over 3.5 inches does nothing but make me worry about the stability of the wearer and fear fo...

Re: Science video with man in a kilt

POSITIVELY BRILLIANT!

a little bit of 50's-style classroom science class filming, a good show of the kilt & sporran, a simple visual explanation of physics, and an actor who doesn't mind looking a bit of the fool.

this mutant gives it 3 thumbs-up!

Re: Trade thread in here?

marvelous idea. we could post photos of skirts we're discarding, along with their pertinent data.

the postage and cost details would be the private concern of the parties involved.

sounds highly intelligent!

Re: Forget H&M Have a look at Pringles Of Scotland

damn, those suits look GOOD. don't make an issue of the pants, they are there to "soften the blow" to the majority of the public that hasn't accepted skirts on men. plus, i think that any guy willing to buy a suit that has a skirt is highly unlikely to want to buy it AND buy pnts to wear u...

A google search for "US Route 1" +"Florida Keys" should turn up quite the wealth of history. This was civil engineering towards the very end of the Heroic Age. OMFG! look up "conch rebellion" and learn how the keys succeeded at seccession (you know, like the south trie...

Re: Men's skirt day = 15th May

The next big thing in social networking will be something that allows two or more people to communicate audio-visually for free without the use of any electronic devices and without having to sign up for any kind of account. :) My god, man, you're talking about meatspace technology. I am so on with...
