Re: Japanese "Rakuten" Unisex Denim Skirt
After first seeing this link posted above, I found the Brappers website and clicked around a bit until I found the section for this skirt. I guess that it's good news that they are "Sold Out"-for both of their colors/styles. That said, if this is truly a unisex skirt, then why did the site...

With the expection of those that look like someone snatched down an errant living room curtain, I think that all of the knee-length skirts look rather smart, actually. When combined with tights and leggings, it certainly offers a valid alternative to pants for fall/winter wear. Now if they would onl...

Re: Getting the message out
I too can see how this kilt-to-skirt trend can evolve: It will lead to various iterations of the "kilt" from creative fashion designers wanting in in on the action. Soon there will be full-on skirts for sale to the male populous. The distinction between these and women's skirts will likely...

Dad who wears skirts (Article in English)
Here is a link to the Huffington Post version of this article. While the article itself is likely identical to others one might find, it is the comments that will certainly be quite different. In this case Huff Po responders are overwhelmingly supportive of the father. Many seem to be rather informe...

Re: How do you feel when...
A handy man rang my doorbell last weekend. I answered the door in my Sportkilt Comfy Kilt and teeshirt He was asking if I wanted a tree cut down in my front yard. We discussed the situation for a few minutes. Before he left, he complimented my kilt. This coming from someone who looked as if I would ...

Re: Do folks notice or not?
Here in the states, we have Target, the big department stores with some that include full grocery stores. Recently, I wore my knee length black denim in with pantyhose and a pullover shirt. The pharmacist, whom I've never seen from behind his counter was at one point all the way over in the grocery ...

Mr. Utopia,
The only that I can say is good on ya, mate! Sounds like it was a nerve-calming experience--and you found more skirts to boot. Stay skirted and be happy.

I found the segment in the episode about Men wearing skirts/kilts. I'll try to link it here: http://www.thedoctorstv.com/videolib/init/5095 If this link does not get you there, then you can go to website, clhoose "This Weeks Episodes" in the drop down about Episodes, look for "The Pre...

Re: Will black men ever wear skirts?
Kanye West, an black American musician, has worn a kilt while in concert. I think that he may have also been spotted in a black leather kilt; I may be getting that confused with someone else. Samuel L. Jackson, an black American actor, has also been photographed wearing a kilt. FWIW, there is also a...

Re: Christmas Day
On past Christmas Days, I have been either wearing my "original" Utilikilt or Comfy Kilt from Sport Kilt along with pantyhose or black tights. Typically, either kilt was also paired with a button down shirt or a black and grey Rugby shirt. Mind you, the only family was immediate; neither o...

Re: Shaving rash
Try using a hair conditioner rather than a shaving cream. The conditioner is: 1) less expensive and 2) will last longer per purchase; 3) And more importantly, it will soften the follicle so as to make shaving it that much easier. I have shaved my legs for about six years now and found the conditione...

Re: Pantyhose and tights
I have worn hose and tights for the past couple of years. Initially, I did not shave my legs. By comparison, hose with shaved legs is far more preferable in terms of comfort and asthetics. My preference in hose leans towards thigh highs but a strong case can be made for control tops. If your work is...
