Re: As nature intended or a smooth operator?
Unshaved even tho I have dark hair. Don't shave when wearing shorts so no need to change the habit for skirts, even short minis.

Re: For your sarcastic friends
I remember coming across some web addresses that aren't what they seem.
One of them was because Powergen (electricity supply company) took over an Italian one and came up with the address www.powergenitalia.com.
Think it still exists...
(Edit -Just checked - it's now defunct)

Re: How old were you . . . . ?
I first tried on some of my sisters skirts when I was around 15-16 years old - it was at the time if the shortest Mary Quant miniskirts which my sister looked fabulous in. It was always when I was alone in the house. Never thought about wearing skirts until I was 50, when I had a ceilidh to go to an...

Re: Hello - Here is my intro
Hi ZG, Good advice above. That is exactly how I first stepped out wearing a skirt. I had on a denim mini (14" long) and had stopped at a motorway service station for petrol. After I filled up, I walked up to the short queue at the cashiers deck, paid for the fuel and back to the car. It just took a ...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"
I was recently in Tenerife for some winter sun and a few rounds of golf. I saw a few fellows as below. 1 He was wearing a mid-shin wedding dress with a veil (probably on his stag do) sipping pints with his male friends. 2 The following night, a group of blokes passed us and one was wearing a dark gr...

No we can!
I was at the cinema last week and within the adverts there was this video linked below called "No We Can" Its aimed at teenagers and gives a number of societal stereotypes (covered by the "no you can't") which could and should be challenged by them. Relevant to this forum, there is a 2sec segment ar...

Re: Member names
Fairly obvious my site name.
On other sites, (naturist ones) I have taken the name "maninaskirt".
(That name has now been taken here btw)

As one person says, he should do it all the time!
And if there are any comments, the charity tin could be waved under their noses!

Re: Wearing a skirt to a Clinic
I too have a pacemaker and every time I go for my annual checkup, I have on a skirt, either just as above the knee or mid-thigh length. I just dont wear tights that day! Never had any comments positive or negative but I do get a nice wide smile! :D I also have for many years gone to the dentist wear...

Re: Sam Smith and They
I’m happy to use whatever pronoun the individual wishes. It’s not about me. Exactly! If a man wishes to be addressed as Mrs, she or her and a women wishes to be known as Mr, he or him, then that's fine with me I would still be a bit uncomfortable using they or them being plural words, but would acc...

Re: Sightings "in the wild"
Seen on beach in Corfu (Arillas beach) two men in quite separate areas of the beach. One had on a blue sarong with his T-shirt accompanied by his female companion. The other had on a white/pale cream wraparound skirt. There were a few others who had on towels wrapped round them like a skirt but I do...

I've not seen men with tights and shorts but on several occasions, seen men with 'distressed' jeans (ie with holes and ripped areas)and it was obvious through these holes and rips, that the fellow was wearing black opaque tights.

Re: Musing on a random thought
In the UK, we have a radio station called Classic FM.
Most mornings they play the Liberty Bell March - for those people who have just recently retired or are about to retire.
Also our son when he was at Oxford (UK), played all 9 symphonies in different orchestras in Beethoven Week!

Re: Skirts in front of alot of people
I regularly wear skirts with many people around. On Monday afternoons at a local bridge club there are usually between 70 and 100. And at curling, if all the rinks are being used, there are over 100. For golf roll-up games (Tues and Thurs), there are 20-40. Initially here there was some friendly ban...

Re: how short can you go in skirts
For me, my shortest skirt is 14" that I am comfortable with wearing in public. I am 5'11" (1.8m) and 165lbs. My longest is a traditional tartan kilt at 24" and I have 2 other Utilitikilts and a Skirtcraft skirt at around 22" long. And skirt wearing for me is like a barometer/thermometer, the shorter...
