"Ya - you donna have to be Scottish to wear de kilt - you can also be Irish - - - or anyone you wanna be" Interesting about the number of tartan or kilt registrations - Years ago when I first wore the generic Red Stewart (Prince Charlie tartan) there were 452 recognized tartans - Now in contrasted i...

Re: First Snow...

Hey what say - time for the BAH HUM BUG chimney sweep to clear the vent for Santa ! Already have had two clashes of snow - but the ground and pavement are too warm to sustain. At least it was not the blizzard of Halloween '91 when snow came down on the trick-n-treaters hiding the scary landscape unt...

Re: Tartan school skirts

Re: The epilator

As I posted earlier: After using the epi for awhile I have been able to use my fingers to tweezer the fuzzy slim regrowth without the mechanical aid The hair becomes sometimes too fine for the epi to do its work. Slips between the tight coils of the epi Just wet my fingers and thumb and grab the hai...

... Read the instructions about trimming the hair down to about 1 cm just enough for the machine to grab the hair and not having a strangling yanking whipping event and not removing the hair sub-root level. ... I assume this is supposed to read 1 mm, or roughly 1/8” for those of us who use standard...
