Re: Féminine outfit but not skirt

Sorry for my poor understanding, what is an overall skirt? A dress? Overall is not a skirt or dress ! Overalls - jumpsuit - pilot outfit - all the same architecture of one piece clothing. A baby wears one and would have ample help in getting dressed into and out of. A shorter leg version is called ...

Re: Fashion media promoting skirts for men

It is not like there is going to be a big billboard on the highway promoting same or TV advertisements. Not even a subtle hint about the men's skirted movement. Almost like the SkirtCafe in hidden camouflage mode ! But it is a movement that is happening gradually - not with sabre light speed - so do...

Re: Difficulties with partners

Does the wife wear skirts dresses and not want competition ? Or is it just pants - slacks - and shorts ? You must both wear the same size in socks - women's sizing in socks is generally one smaller size number than men's and may pose a constriction at the ankle - keep that in mind when buying socks ...

Re: how short can you go in skirts

The difference between a dress and a skirt is commonly the stretch and reach reveal factor. When reaching or stretching for something on a top shelf or overhead the dress hem line raises - the skirt hem line stays for the most part in place - the reveal factor is in play with the dress. However in b...

Re: Féminine outfit but not skirt

The problem with those damn sequins is the constant litter of the little creatures every time you scrap up against something or wearing way too tight outer wear with surface abrasion factor thus creating the same disaster as runs in hosiery. Better would be to just wear the PH tights leggings in bri...

NOT practice makes perfect - - - BUT PERFECT practice makes perfect - - - Keep doing the practice the same way trying to get a perfect result is meaningless - - - i.e. keeping doing something the same way expecting a different perfect result - - - Something about being in the same ole groove ! Oh wh...

Re: So, kiltshopping?

Just taken delivery today of a splendid woollen Anderson Tartan Kilt from ScotlandShop, complete with flashes and decorative pin. Material has a splendid feel to it and the kilt is 'modern' in that it has two hidden slash pockets either side of the apron, dispensing with a sporran. No belt loops th...

Re: Sleeve slits - futuristic or fugly?

Bad enough to have slits cutouts in de pants jeans but to have the cutouts at the elbow - EGADS ! Then cut outs at the top of the sleeve near the neck ? Those cutouts at the sleeve end (wrist) were for keeping snow out of gloves. Women's fashion application for men's wear leaves much to be desired. ...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4qZlQlbjrys Dunno if this has been linked to previously but if it has, worth looking for the latest positive comments. That lad/guy looks seriously cool, my only suggestion would be a plain skirt (although plain is more hidden than patterned?). Also love the comment ...

I think for all intents and purposes, tomorrow we'll be in the "roaring twenties" of the new century...

Here's to NOT repeating another 1929!
Horrors having to go to a speakeasy wearing a skirt drinking illegal hootch - we have come this far to fall back on ole times ? LOL of course !

A very happy New Year to all members, decade or no decade.

Hopefully non of this decade stuff leads to the decadent skirt wearing - an awful thought !

Just don't bring any bad habits resolutions with your 2020 re-skirting movement !
Of course everything here at SC is LOL !
No serious dressing or skirting around left to its own amusement !

What is with the FISH - private joke ?

Moonshadow you now have something in common with Jack Benny - a perpetual age bracket - maybe not so much on the comedian side !

You aren't celebrating this up in Vulcan country are you ?
