Re: AI Sucks

AI has its uses, like driving my vaccum cleaner or mower, or sorting and categorizing things. But information retrieval is not something is going to be good at for a long time, there is just to much false information and it does not seem capable of independent source criticism.

Re: Trousers, Women have more....

This is something I have also noticed. If I didnt already have to many pairs of trousers I would maybe buy more from that side. I only have one pair from the Womens side, most are much to short in the legs(even my wife thinks so), even when marketed as trousers and not capris. In the Mall the other ...

Re: Ballet Flats and Mary Janes Back on the Runway

Nice catch, I actually saw a pair in the mall last weekend, they were small and in the womens section so did'nt bother asking if they had other sizes, we were just passing through looking for a pair of shoes for my wife.

Re: Skirts in the sunshine

A sunny day is always a good day, a skirt just makes it so much more enjoyable.

Great photo, and as BM said, everyone is so focused on their phones today.

I think so too, I've not had a chance to try out my prototype on the trail yet, so unsworn is best, but my hopes are high.

Re: Video games

@TSH: I agree, morrowind is the best of the bunch, skyrim really needs a lot of mods to be fun and Oblivion was dud. F12 will save a screenshot in bmp format to the main directory of the game. If you install Morrowind Graphics Extender XE and Morrowind Code Patch (dependency) you can both bump up th...

Re: Video games

Exactly. What's ironic about The Elder Scrolls series doing this in later installments is that Morrowind is the only game in the franchise that completely averted it by having everything be accessible to both sexes. So, a skirt wouldn't automatically transform into pants on a male character; it'd s...

Re: Video games

I like the freedom too, or rather, if you are letting your players equip/dress in different clothes, ofc all should be available to all. Worst is the ones where one item will be pants on a male but a skirt on females, even though its the same item. Another fun one that got quite a bit of flak was Di...

Re: The Great Female Renunciation

I see it too, especially the younger generations, but there are still plenty more women who put more effort into what they wear than men do.

Re: Dress Making

It would make a pretty dress, looks like a lot of Indian influence. Hard part is probably to source a similar fabric of make it with embroidery maybe. Time consuming no doubt. :)

Re: Skirting when doing DIY projects

For all the small jobs around the house I usually just use what I'm wearing. But most of my larger diy projects are quite dirty, like yesterday I was fitting the summer wheels on my car and had to service the brakes while I had the wheels off, all that dust/rust, silicone grease and aluminum paste i...

Re: Hypothethical Question

Already sounds quite a lot like my current wardrobe, for good or bad. I like dark colours and black, and I feel rather uncomfortable in white despite having worked in white scrubs for 15 years... I am trying to work colours into my wardrobe, mostly blue, green and red, but some pastel t-shirts have ...

Re: giant skirts

I really like the look of these 19th century huge skirts/dresses with pettycoats under, its a main inspiration era for me. I would jump at a chance to try one out. I have tried my wifes tulle petty on a few times under various dresses, i like the feeling of it and its not a particularly fluffy one s...

Re: bike riding

One day I also discovered (c): if you don't have a crossbar, then you get less painfully tangled up with the bike if you fall off, because your leg doesn't drag the frame on top of you, and you can fall away from it! Haha, I have never fallen of a bike sideways, never thought of it as a possibility...
