Manly v feminine: Who cares? Wear what you like. If you are worried about M-F placement on some continuum in somebody minds -- put on your pants or dress how you feel good. As to length: I'd say any so long as it covers the genitals to keep you out of the pokey, and you feel good with it. Well said...

If the photo was cropped so their heads weren't visible, then they could easily be males - tartan skirts should be seen as what they are, a unisex garment. I am definitely wearing the light and airy flowing skirts in colors of my choice to include pink and baby blue.

There will also be heeled ankle boots and mary janes to complete the outfit.
