Re: Snoga Skirts: "Unisex" and Ready for Mass Male Adoption?

Nice looking skirt. And it has pockets. But like Damon, I don't care for the "Find your size" function. A lot of the inputs are subjective (e.g., roundness of your rump and abdomen), which can lead to an erroneous result. I tried it, and it recommended a skirt one size smaller than I norma...

Re: Overall skirts

I've never heard of an overall skirt. This discussion piqued my interest, so I googled "overall skirt", and was surprised at the number different companies selling these. I thought this one sold by Timberland looked good (I like, and wear, Timberland boots, but never knew they sell skirts)...

Re: How do you approach tops?

Jordan, Good discussion. As always, I have benefitted from the the thoughtful responses of the others in this community. When I was a young man, I had a slender build like yours, and I could have done justice to tighter fitting tops. But I am half again the man I was back then, and form-fitting tops...

Re: Knee length length

To be fair, a number of skirts took my eye. I have been very pleased with my "work skirt" http://www.skirtcafe.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=24614 which was from Romans earlier in the year. So I take any excuse to buy another skirt. Mouse, That's a great looking skirt! I wish Amazon here in ...

Re: Finally - Too Tired

Fact is, I hate honey and therefore would have no incentive to take up bee-keeping. One of the best beekeepers in our area also hates honey. Never eats it. But he loves working with the bees. Year after year, his hives are the most productive in the area. On average, his hives produce 150 lbs each ...

Re: Finally - Too Tired

Whilst checking of how well I was doing with my exercises (for my age) it was this site that brought it home to me... https://foundationchiropractic.ca/at-home-fitness-testing/ The realisation that I am unlikely to ever better by very much the average push-up, for instance, of someone half my age w...

Re: Finally - Too Tired

At 73 years old, I know this from experience :D Uncle Al  :ugeek:  Al, Being just a few years younger than you, I'm not there, yet, but I can feel it coming on. I can't last as long as I once did, and it seems to take me longer to get things done. Even though I've reduced the numb...

Re: Partners

It has come to pass. The new section is in place under "People" and should be visible to all members in good standing. I wanted to protect this, at least initially, from the prying "eyes" of web-crawlers and bots, but everyone really ought to be able to access, read, and post to...

Re: Partners

Would it be possible for a "Partners/Significant Others" category to be added to the board? In this world, most anything is possible -- even bad ideas. However, I don't think this is necessarily a bad idea -- quite the opposite, really, as it's a common problem. I'll have a chat with the ...

Re: Non-posting/inactive members?

Using the copy of the database I have in my lab which is a couple of months old, if I ran that now on the Production database the cull would amount to 5,986 usernames. This sort of shows just how thin on the ground we are. Carl, I'm confused by 5,986 usernames. The forum homepage says there are onl...

Re: Non-posting/inactive members?

As a relatively new member who has only posted a few times, I'd just like to say that I really appreciate the tenor of this forum. Everyone seems to express their opinions and ideas openly and honestly. And they do so in a way that is encouraging and not offensive. I also appreciate that those of yo...

I agree. I do keep appointments on my phone, but still prefer to keep tasks only in my calendar. It's a personal preference.

Re: Sixty years ago

I was in school, in first grade. It was my seventh birthday. I remember the flag being at half mast when I left the school building. Grok and I must be the same age. I was also in first grade when this happened. I don't remember anything specific about the day President Kenedy was shot. What I do r...

Re: An Oldie

Yes, unfortunately this is a part of my life now.

To get things done and help me stay focused, I write down scheduled appointments and a list of things to do in a calendar book at the beginning of each week.

Re: The road to not caring

Kudos for getting out! I have yet wear my skirts out of the house. (And probably won't for some time since my beloved wife insists that skirts stay in the house when they're on me. ) By the way, I like your skirt. I have a very similar one, that I like very much, which I ordered from Amazon.
