Re: What have you discovered through wearing skirts and dresses?

Definitely the breeze, comfort of movement and I simply enjoy how it looks and how the fabric feels while on the move.
A well chosen skirt with a linen shirt on a hot summer day looks a lot better and established than a pair of shorts as if we were schoolkids :D

Re: Sightings "in the wild"

by TonautBrom » Mon Aug 28, 2023 3:23 pm Frankly I find that encouraging -- if any member of John Q Public sees more than 1 man in a skirt in their lifetime, but especially more than one in a single day, that will leave a much stronger, and likely positive, impression. In London I see at least one ...

Re: Anyone can be a princess - conservatives riot

I princess is, by definition, female. The male equivalent is a prince. Funny enough that's just convention. In Poland the ruler was always a king, never a queen, therefore there was a female King Jadwiga. There's your bull milking mate. Anyway, this whole issue is that conservatives are worried tha...

Re: Daves - a Spanish company selling good-looking Spanish-made men's skirts

Skirts finally arrived last week. Did not get charged duty for two of those - just €18 for postage. They wear very well. The green one has a bit thicker cotton and is slighlt more rigid. The blue one is very light and flowy. I enjoy both of them. Drove to Wales recently and wore them all the time wi...

Re: Input solicited on SKIRTS & PEACE

I second the approach for comfort. Pants were always too constricting - especially shorts. I've always said openly to a broader public that if skirts were socially acceptable for men to wear I would definitely wear them whenever I can - UK weather providing. Now the time has come that I openly wear ...

Re: Hello from London!

Cheers from the support everyone! Welcome to a fellow Londoner...I'm from the West part (Richmond to be exact) and I too have the full support of MOH. Admittedly, I work and mentally live in London, I moved out bit more North due to house prices. I'm in Hertfordshire. Work are fine with my skirt wea...

Re: Daves - a Spanish company selling good-looking Spanish-made men's skirts

I am currently waiting for two of their skirts. Got bounced on customs as importing to the UK, so now they've sent it yet again in a different method.
Will let you know when it comes!

Hello from London!

Hi everyone! It’s my first post here. Funny to be using the good ‘ol forum format. Bit about me is that I’m a 32yo straight bloke, happily married, and I wanted to improve my overral level of comfort and break out of the borigness of trousers. Men’s fashion is horribly monotonous, and was even strug...
