Re: Male anatomy

Interesting article, although I think calling "it" and elephant is a bit of an overstatement.
Heh, agreed. I went with cheesy humour at the expense of exaggerating the issue.

Re: Male anatomy

What an amazingly cool idea. I liked all the different photos, that's must have taken some effort to work it all out, well done. Thank you! Yeah, it did take a longer than expected, with all the photos. I really wanted to create some comparisons though, in case the difference wasn't obvious. I susp...

Re: Male anatomy

I wrote an article on this topic called Elephant in the Room: Skirts and the Male Bulge . https://everybodyskirts.com/blogs/posts/elephant-in-the-room-skirts-and-the-male-bulge There were so many good ideas in this thread and I thought it would be fun to compile different perspectives. I also catego...

Re: Confessions

Great job. I like the confession section especially the 'I think I'm addicted to petticoats' section. This resonates with me especially in this cold weather. Thanks! Actually, I hadn't considered the warming factor :) I like the pettycoat one too. Submited one of my own too Thanks for adding one of...

Sounds like this might not have been the issue, but https://everybodyskirts.com/confessions re-directs to this address: https://everybodyskirts.com/blogs/confessions

Confessions

Hello! I’ve been working on a side project that I finally put into the world, last month. It's called Everybody Skirts and one of its main goals is to help normalize skirts for men and anyone who might not feel "normal" in a skirt. Feel free to browse around! Feedback welcome :) I also add...

Re: How do you respond to confrontation?

I have only ever been challenged directly twice, both in my time of volunteering at a Historic House and that is now 8 years. [...] I took it so long and as not challenged direct, I spoke to my wife, loud for all to hear that what irritates me is bigots and hypocrites those who question another's c...

Skirt storage

How do you keep your skirts organized? I have wayyy more skirts than I ever did pants, since ditching the latter. But I find I have piles of skirts and it can be difficult to find one, or visualize my options. I think my ideal system would be a combo of shelves for heavy skirts, and wall hangers for...

Re: How do you respond to confrontation?

Lots of wisdom in these posts - thanks everyone. Almost all of the verbal reactions I've gotten were positive, especially from women and the younger generations. I would like to have more conversations with strangers about skirts, but I won't say anything if it feels like there could be the slightes...

Re: [Twirls in] Hello, from Vancouver Island

it was 'only' a beach wrap (I've still got it) given to me as a swim suit cover up -- but wow, the feeling and freedom it granted giving forth the sensations and ideas for skirts in general was my first real transition to wearing skirts. While there, take a nostalgia trip for me -- head up the lake...

How do you respond to confrontation?

I've had many weird looks from strangers, but only had one aggressive confrontation in 5 years of wearing skirts. A man at the grocery store gave me a weird look for a bit too long, and later when I was putting my cart away outside, I heard a "F*CK YOU" about 20 feet behind me, and there w...

Re: [Twirls in] Hello, from Vancouver Island

Thanks for the welcome! I'm looking forward to browsing the forum more. I suspect you will find your welcome extends pretty much around the island and more. We used to live on Bowen Island when I still worked in Vancouver, and though skirts were still very rare for me then, I did skirt at times, mor...

[Twirls in] Hello, from Vancouver Island

Hey everyone, I'm Jordan from Nanaimo, on the Canadian west coast. I love that this forum exists. I bought my first skirt 5 years ago. It took me at least a few months to wear it outside the house, and that was to a fairly open-minded dance, at first. I'm now 39 and have at least 20 skirts. I've pre...
