Re: Bib overall kilt

A little expensive for me, but that's a pretty cool overkilt!

Re: Can a skirt ever look masculine

I certainly am not caring to look cute and pretty. I'm a nearly middle aged overweight man. I left cute and pretty behind a long time ago.

Re: Manchester Evening News: Boy wears skirt to school in protest after teachers ban shorts in sweltering weather

So it's obvious to us, but the article makes the point that skirts are more comfortable than pants, are more appropriate than shorts in a more formal situation, and that boys aren't teased or reprimanded for wearing skirts. All good points we should cheer and be glad is being publicized once again....

Re: The right time is now

I've never been in my company's office as I work from home, but I was curious what our dress code was. I was happy to see that it doesn't mention gender anywhere in it. Merely outlining what can't be worn, and to be professional.

I didn't really read it before, but yeah, you're right. It almost just seems like word salad.

Re: Advice from Faverie website

The lack of pictures is kind of bothersome. It's like saying, "we have great ideas for how men can wear skirts but either too lazy to take pictures or it was too hard to find men willing to wear them."

Re: Hello from Milton Keynes, UK

Does anyone know the history of the name Milton Keynes? Was he a real person? Ive also read that its a planned suburb. Re: Taking a hit for the team?

I loved this quote
"My female colleagues would also wear shorts if they were available to us. This dress isn't practical and even women look awful in it, although of course I look the worst," he said.
Sounds like the hospital needs to update its wardrobe.

Re: Can a skirt ever look masculine

By becoming more feminist in our actions we evolve to be a better person. Masculinity is a thing of the past. I think this is a pretty bad take. You'll find a lot of us don't agree with this. I do think there are some very negative behaviors and attributes commonly associated with masculinity, that...

Re: The right time is now

If not now, when? I'm only 37, so I haven't seen everything, but in my experience, acceptance of gender non-conformity is at an all time high. The laws in certain states trying to force a certain view of gender expression I think are a result of that acceptance. A last ditch effort to force people b...

I've definitely found use for ChatGPT in my field of DevOps. I can use it get started on a script to do something. For example, I need a python script that enumerates AWS IAM users with attached security keys greater than 90 days old. I can write that script myself, but ChatGPT can write me an almos...

Re: As nature intended or a smooth operator?

I've only ever regularly shaved my face. The issue I have is the hair just never stops. I'm coated in fur pretty much everywhere. I would feel really weird with the incongruity of shaved legs but hairy everything else.
